I don't think Twi is out of character here. How likely is it that she'd remember a minor offense committed by a Guard, five years later? Probability: 100 percent. And she's always been at least somewhat prone to doing unexpected things in response to circumstances that other ponies might simply shrug off.

little disappointed that you didn't go with him being a guard for her and spending long periods of time together. no interaction, just close proximity. remember, haruhi didn't turn a guy down who asked her out. and kyon never asked her out, just kept talking to her. then gave her an idea, which she dragged him into.

Do remember that Haruhi technically met Kyon in middle school under the alias John Smith.
On a side note: This is not a direct rip of Haruhi Suzumiya, most of the ideas and such is inspired by Haruhi and the characters in it but I don't plan on following the plot of TMOHS to a huge degree although it will influence this story.
And also, the reason for her suddenly dragging him along will be explained (hopefully anyways) in the next chapter (which I am currently working on).

Hmm Twilight thought he would make a good element of laughter because of his pratfalls. While that may or may not be true, I can say that if he actually goes out and finds a Laughter, Generosity, Honesty, and Kindness, that he qualifies for Loyalty just for doing the job.

Was considering it, started working on these stories again since the holidays are kicking in but if there was any shipping involved it would probably just be a minor point and not really a main piece so i'm not sure if it would qualify for the romance tag...
