Barely holding onto life, with a deliberating injury worsening by the minute, a rugged and young realm traveler seeks solace among a massive sprawl unlike anything he’s ever seen before. Spotting his only hope within its outskirts, he comes across a peculiar dwelling that may just be his last bastion of hope, Twilight Sparkle’s home.

Going by the single name, Alistair, the boy speaks of a torn and broken world, ripped apart by torrential winds and scorched by searing electric storms that devastated the once gentle landscape into an absolute wasteland beyond any sign of life.

Realizing he has no where to go, Twilight Sparkle opts to take the boy under her wing, both as a teacher and a friend for one who desperately needs both. Ever appreciative of her generosity, Alistair agrees to her lessons and is eager to learn of his new home.

But, speculation runs rampant in Equestria, as the human’s arrival has ended a mysterious lapse of inter-dimensional activity, with not a single bi-pedal appearing in the realm in nearly a century. What this details is left to anypony’s assumption, but even Twilight cannot help but wonder if something much larger is afoot, beginning at the very moment Alistair’s feet landed on Equestrian soil.

With the future murky and indeterminate, it’s unknown where this endeavor will lead or where it will end, but at least one will know where it began.
