I've read the prologue and seen the map you made, and I must say, my interest is piqued! However, I'm looking at the post date, and wondering if the next chapter is actually underway or not. Well, here's to hoping!
Also, something about the language here that makes me want to do a dramatic reading, or narration, or something of the sort. Heh, a good sign I guess.

Not at all XD, I had a lot of fun doing both.
From what I've seen of this, you've made the same mistake I did.
You created too much lore, too fast, and now you're stuck trying to fit a story in there somewhere. As a fellow author (and as someone with experience in biting off more than he can chew) I'd suggest you step back a bit from world creation and focus more on the journey.
Let the world build itself around your characters as they explore it, rather than trying to plan it all out beforehand and getting stuck. If you let the story write itself, you'll find that it's really not so hard, after all.
I know what you mean, but that's not quite my problem. The entire story was "written" from the start. Context, as far as the story is concerned, has already been fleshed out. The world came after. It was the extra step I took because I wanted the world to exist before I thrust my characters into it. Half the fun of WTWE is giving context to what we see in the TV show. And the more it grew, the more it justified that context.
What's taken me forever is sequence. I'm so used to writing novels (write it all, edit, then publish) - I developed the habit of writing scenes as they strike me. One day, I can find myself writing chapter 50 and the next, chapter 5. Yet, here I am promising to release a chapter at a time, and fun fact: Chapters 4-14 (there are, as of right now, 14 chapters in Act 1) are written and ch. 3 is further along than ch. 1 or 2.
Easy answer: Write in sequence! Easier said than done, but I'm doing the best I can, and I don't want to rush this. I want it done right.

It's often hard when you come up with a great idea that you really want to write, but it's much further along in the story than you are so there's no way you can use it correctly and you're forced to write relatively boring stuff until you can get there. Filler is the hardest thing to do, but it's what makes or breaks a story.
Anypony can write an awesome scene, but only a true author can give the backstory and dramatic tension necessary to really make that idea explode off the page. I await the fruits of your labors with quiet joy.
Found this through a Russian Pony video where I came to find it on Deviantart and from there looked on the bottom left corner and found the story name and from there tried several unsuccessful Google searches and from there realized I was being stupid and searched it on Fimfiction and from there read the prologue and then saw there wasn't another chapter and then I looked at the date it was published and then I was disappointed and thought you had quit and then I read your comment.
You had me going for a second.
This glorious. A truly well thought out world where a journey of danger and daring takes place. I am shaking my bones back here, and this is only the prologue! I honestly cannot wait for the amazing work you create, and I can bet it's going to have more than one spin off when it's done. 
Okay, I'm hooked. This looks like its going to be epic!
Did you make the map on your own? Its quite amazing in scale and in detail; I first saw it featured in the YouTube PMV "Dash's Determination." Is your story going to transpire across the entire world, or did you, like Tolkien, create an entire world in which your story will take place? I got so many questions about the freatures on the map, though I guess I'll have to wait for the story to get my answers.
Have you seen the newly released official map of Equestria? I don't think it hold a candle next to your masterpiece.

Something most different is in this story. Very different. I have read many stories but this story, YOUR STORY, feels as if it will be the greatest most famous story on the whole site.
Probably because you made up a whole new part of the world of MLP. Something like unlocking the actual potential of the fiction of the world of MLP.
Oh, by the way, I LIKE IT.
I think your map will become the new basis for all FiMfiction, from now on. It's just so detailed and enormous that it should be expected. I'm very excited for the story, and I can hardly wait. I'll have to check out the Wiki page for it. Keep up the good work!
I've been looking all over the web, but I can't find any news more recent than 2012. Is this a dead fic? I hope not. It has way, way too much promise to be. If somepony could tell me what, if anything, is happening with this fic, it would be very appreciated.
