After months on end of boredom and a general lack of responsibilities, Luna decides to finally do something about it. She rounds up five ponies with an appreciation for fun to match her own and begins a campaign of one of her very favorite classic games, Dungeons & Dragons. What the five friends don't realize is that this game won't be played in the traditional sense.

Currently being rewritten in between chapter updates, so bear with me

Special thanks to MrAskAPirate for editing.

2504920 Thanks, truly one of the greatest and most annoying narrations ever lol.

Good gravy; it's like the Nashkel mines all over again, :derpyderp2:

I hope that you're planning on making a long series of these... like any good D&D adventure you have to start off slow and build, but you have the potential for some really epic adventures down the road,

:pinkiegasp:DUNGEONS&DRAGONS THEMED!?!
:twilightoops:COMMENCE READING! NO NEED FOR SLEEP!

I'll I can think is "hands, LAY ON!!"

2558627 You know, your comment has made me realize that in the pony world the ability would likely be called Lay on Hooves. Anyone agree, disagree, care one way or another?

2558738
Yeah, probably. I was thinking more from Fantastic Four, but instead of flame on, lay on.

As a d&d player myself , i have but one thing to say.

Thank you so much! I cried when i read the description!

Somewhere in the back of her head, Redheart's probably blaming and cursing Vinyl for getting them into another bad spot.

:yay:, I was worried this fic had fallen by the wayside!

Erm.... at least they're all back together again? :twilightoops:

Omg its not dead!!!!
Yay!!:yay:

the kobolds soon helplessly dancing to their disco inferno-y doom.

:rainbowlaugh:

Ooh, now things're getting interesting! :rainbowdetermined2:

/raises hoof
I can edit... I'm not exactly a boss when it comes to teh grammarz but I got me an eye for detail, :raritywink:

Before anyone asks, I had absolutely nothing to so with the sudden appearance of pirates; honest! :twilightoops:

I almost gave up on it, but just couldn't. Not the type to quit halfway through something, so for better or worse, this thing will be finished.

Super-glad you picked it up again, :pinkiehappy:

Holy shit, dat Baldur's Gate reference! I love it. Also, yay, another chapter! Luna and Celestia bless you!

Port Sarim :facehoof: You did not even try to mask the place. Are They are in saddle Marabia (should be Arabia that is the canon.) or in Gielinor? :rainbowhuh:

one thing I find annoying is that Luna dosn't get to interact with the characters very much.

Welp, I am now caught up. Also, here's a hint for Lyra. Bardic knock spells. They do what the tin says. Advice derived from the Spoony one. Also, aim for one spot and hammer it until it breaks off. It will work on even the mightiest of foes.

e this is awesome

I just found this and have been loving it. I was expecting a semi light hearted adventure. But then things took a turn for the Serious while still keeping comedy (which is what this group is good at).
The writing is solid and the campaign sounds good so far, I could actually see this as a game I might actually play (again a good thing). I like the action and the environments and just hope this hasn't been forever abandoned.
Though typing this all out makes me wonder, is the twist that Luna is still in controll and the whole dreamworld under threat still part of the game?
Look forward to someday reading more.
