290766 That would be hilarious! What happens after this kiss is yours to interpret (for now maybe). Not sure when the next update will be. I'm thinking of whether to finish this or to do a small story in between. I guess we'll find out soon.
I think my favorite thing about this fic is how Vinyl and Octavia are different than most depictions of them, yet still faithfull for the more basic fanon interpretations of them.
Octavia is still the prim and proper pony, member of the more "traditional" society.
Vinyl is still the party pony, the wild and carefree one who bucks the etiquette and manners of the more traditional high society.
Yet, neither comes of as a wreck needing to be fixed, Vinyl is neither burned out nor alcoholic, and Octavia does not hate the more modern culture or partying and need to be shown the error of her ways, usually one or the other is used as a starting point for them, which in itself is not bad, my as of yet favority Vinyl/Tavi fic (Remix) uses the burned out, and possibly alcoholic, Vinyl Scratch and Octavia who disdains modern music, and does so well (just wish there was more of it), but it's refreshing to see neither of them used while staying true to what i see as the core of the fanon created characters.
pretty decent story so far, a shame it seems rather dead (left 4 dead, hah!)...
