Secondly, this seems interesting indeed. It will be fun follow these two (or, well, at least Rick) adapting to Equestria more and more.
It's a bit early to comment on pretty much any details yet, but I like the buildup up to here, and I like how you're making Rick fill out a logbook of his events with Fluttershy.

I've never really been so excited for story, but this? This is much more than a simple 'story'. This here is a work of art, and I look forward to the next chapter, and the next, and the next, all the way to the epilogue. Then and only then I will be able to be happy, because I can't if I never discover what happens to them in the end.
So thank you for the sequel. Thank you for making 'My Dear Shy' to begin with.

the problem I see in the prologue is that Fluttershy has no problems with creatures eating meat. Heck, she fed ferrets fish*!
* == don't believe me, Season 1 Episode 7 at the 00:07 point. Those two fishies were innocent, but she fed them to the ferrets just the same. Fluttershy is most likely the ONLY pony who would not have any problem with a meat eater eating a NON-sapient being as long as they were not cruel about it.
2422413 True, but that may be because they're animals, so she sees it as a natural thing. Rick, on the other hand, Fluttershy doesn't consider him as an animal, which may be the reason why it sort of bothers her. That or maybe Rick gutting and cooking them is the reason. Who knows. But I do remember the episode since you can look on one of the Aftermath chapters of 'My Dear Shy' where Rick sees Fluttershy giving the ferrets fresh fish.
I only based that off of another person's perspective, so other people may have different opinions on the idea of a pony's reaction to humans eating animals in Equestria.

Honestly to say, the later part of the second chapter has... been rushed. Only slightly. I'm definitely going to have to add a bit more sentences so the chapter's length is near around the previous.
