This looks like it could be a lot of fun, and I'm always a sucker for a little SoarinJack.
I like this so far, just one tiny pet peeve reared its ugly head a lot. I bugs me when a fic uses the phrase "Luna's moon" in a first-person story (barring some extenuating circumstances). In canon, Luna was either unknown or hated until VERY recently. Ponies wouldn't likely use or think that phrase, pretty much ever, unless they're a poet, it's the future, or it's some nature of AU. It just wouldn't have worked its way into the popular speech yet.
Again I liked it, and I'm totally following, but I've just been holding that one in from fanfiction in general for a while.
