Naden Gryphus

E

Princess Twilight Sparkle has lived a life full of quite unique events. A long life full of ponies, ponies long forgotten, others have been remembered throughout the ages, but not as as they were.

Something that was just bumping around my mind after Season 3 finale. It is also the first thing I dare to publish in FimFiction, so there's that too. Critique me please, a lot, I need it.

dealing with idiots

I know this was suppose to be sad but that was kind of funny. :rainbowlaugh:

Good story!!!

I couldn't help myself imagining Twilight with her 'Is this what I'm dealing with' face.

Thank you for your comment.

This was nice and is an example of something I've always believed. Immortality is a curse. Now I have events playing in my head set in the same world as this from another ponies perspective along the lines of you either die as a hero or live long enough to become an villain.

The only thing I can say against it is that I'm a big fan of indenting paragraphs in stories. Now I know in the digital format this isn't always required. If you used them on the Twilight is writing section it would make that part stand out. I can see a line break above that part as well but the visual settings I'm using it is hard to see. May not be an issue on the non Rarity settings.

I usually do use indented paragraphs, I guess I was lazy this time. Expect them in my next story.

Also, yes I can't believe there are still people that want to live forever.

Thanks for your comment.

This was very well-written emotional piece, and the very same depressing thoughts that ran through my head when watching the Season 3 finale.

I also particularly appreciated the part where she talks about the way others often misinterpret historical figures and events.

Glad you enjoyed it, I just couldn't let the idea fester around my mind for too long.
As for the few comments about misinterpretation of historical figures, well those come from a few memories of getting into heated debates with my history teacher. Quite amusing, and got me into some trouble.

Thank you for your kind words!

I imagine that in becoming a member of an immortal race, you gradually develop the faculties to cope with the passage of time simply through your altered brain chemistry.

We've all kinda had these thoughts on immortality since we took the time to think about it. What's the point of endless life if there's no one to share it with? :fluttercry: You kicked me in the feels, bro!

This story, I like it.
