Anyways, it needs a bit more. I felt like there was something lacking. It's not like it was bad or anything, but it's not as good as some of the others I've read.
Short and interesting, of course it is worth 5 stars

I found the premise of this story interesting. It clearly shows a side of Trixie we rarely get to see. There is clearly a psychological issue that you have explored in this work that has required careful scrutiny on your part, for which I can only commend. While notable for its brevity, the story's ultimate impact strikes just as hard as any longer story I have read. The grand twist at the end is, by far, one of the most gasp-worthy in the pony fandom.
Your prose demonstrates an understanding in descriptive narrative, as well as a bold use of more vernacular phrases, such as "rock your world". This is uncommon in liturature of such high caliber, and I have only praise for your daring to explore such new territory.
I was a bit disappointed in the lack of description in some areas. For example, I would have liked to know exactly who every pony was in the crowd below. I feel this would have added to the atmosphere, and given us more of a sense of exactly who Trixie was attempting to impress. Also, you tell us there was a crack, but you do not give us precise details as to the crack's exact nature. How large was it in inches, for example? Where was it in relation to Trixie's hooves?
Also, you only used the phrase "Great and Powerful" three times in this story. I feel that all stories involving the Great and Powerful Trixie should always contain the words "Great and Powerful" at least five times. This gives the story more emphasis, and draws attention to Trixie's subtle inner need for attention.
With that said, I find this to be a superb addition to the pony literary collection, and hope to someday see a sequel. Perhaps next time you can explore the mysterious "purple mare" and her own psyche, and perhaps delve into her relationship with Trixie. I sincerely hope to read more from you, and wish you the best of luck in your stellar writing career.
It was you Sethisto, and your grand obsession with Trixie, that I've really come to like her character for all of the ten-fifteen minutes she got on screen. I've since joined her herd and have not looked back.
Great and quick story here but definitely worth it.
