Sequels1

T

Sweetie Belle is a normal filly, at least she thinks so. But even among her fellow Cutie Mark Crusaders, she had always been different. Maybe it was some slight bouts of immature behavior or taking after her older sister. But lately she has felt some strong feelings looming over her, she knows why but won't tell a soul. She won't even be honest with her self. So what does she do? The choice is obvious: She hides. She hides from friends, she hides from families and teachers. She hides her feelings where they can never pop out and ruin what life she has. But is hiding enough?

Warning: This story deals with things of a slightly mature and definitely 'taboo' nature. I would say exactly what it's about but it is a mystery, just don't be surprised if a few chapters in your brain explodes.

Note: Sorry if your brain explodes.

Hm Sweetie Bell is indeed odd but I can't seem to pin down the problem. She'd likely drive any therapist nuts.

I think Sweetie Bell is starting to mature and at least part of her is considering getting married and starting a family of her own. They grow up so fast these days.

I concur, it doesn't seem to be taboo she is just growing up fast.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, if you say so :twilightsheepish: 2246404

Very well written. An interesting topic choice but you've kept it engaging and the dialogue feels like it fits well. Flowing where it should and awkward where the character were
I look foreword to reading more of this

Thank you! I did try hard :twistnerd: 2246433

when she shung it was amazing

Other than this line, you have my undivided attention.

Well, I found this story interesting so far, though I did spot one error that is bothing the hay out of me...

"...Yes, if you really want help. If you don't then all I know so far is that you feel weird around things and other's... Like I said vague. I'm not stupid Sweetie Belle, I know some other ponies and I'm sure its everypony thinks this way but I catch more than you would think. I knew something was bothering you if you asked to hang out with me and foalsit! Heh, no offense.

Le-spoiler BBcode for the win... anyway, no end quotation mark... other than that, I find this interesting, though, Pinkie... seems a bit... not weird... she seems too normal, but then again, Pinkie is... Pinkie.

If you recall in Pattycakes, she was acting some what normal when she was forced to be mature and care for the Twins. Also another good catch.... I mean sure Pinkie is random but you can't act 100% Pinkie and watch foals AND try and figure out what's wrong with a filly. :pinkiesick: 2246645

2246705
I completely agree, I think the way you went about handling this pinkie moment was very good, I don't know if I would be able to come close to handling it as good as you did, I wasn't even thinking that far ahead, lol.

Is Sweetie Belle preggers?

Is Sweetie Bell displaying signs of Infantilism?

I may have put it as a Teen rating but I did not mean she is a teenager. Just slight older than on the show, thus her magic. 2246926

Maybe, you will just have to find out! 2247001

inb4 sweetie becomes the next pattycakeshy:yay::unsuresweetie:

Hhhhhm.... this doesn't seem to have too much evidence, but maybe Sweetie is... a filly fooler, perhaps? :trixieshiftright:

Okay I have two theories.
Sweetie Belle is having a hard time growing up and is slowly regressing into a second childhood or with the fillies comment she may be showing signs of being homosexual and her feelings are starting to show.
I have to say I find this story very intriguing. I'm very curious to see what happens with Sweetie Belle and look forward to finding out her problem. Also add in the fact it's a very well written tale and you've got an instant favorite from this guy!

Intrigued. Also, 2247837 A well-thought-out hypothesis, my good lane.

Wow I got featured o.O. Thanks everyone! :yay:

I'm really starting to like everypony's idea's lol. Fillyfooler huh? A bit hmm... 2247833

Are you warm or cold? I can't tell.... giggles. 2247864

2246705

You never go full Pinkie!

Yeah that leads to trouble = :pinkiesick: 2248056

Wow, This is very intriguing. I read the description and thought "...this must be another one of tho...or maybe not....*reads most of first chapter* oh my god! I have no idea what the feelings are! *bangs head on wall* why must it be so late at night, I want to read more!" XD

Sorry I only have these two chapters for the moment, luckily they don't take long to write though... 2248105

2248105
Want a hint? Check the author's other story. 10 bits this turns out to be the same thing.
EDIT: Oh christ, and it's featured, too. Can't wait for the shitstorm to roll in.

You........................................................................................................ :derpytongue2: This is a mystery though.2248118

i´m calling it for Sweetie Bell having a Gender Identity Disorder :pinkiehappy: I think she display some of the symptoms (or it could be my psychology formation having a play with me :twilightblush:)
Either way i´m calling it right now, i think Sweetie Bell feels more like a Colt than a Filly, maybe she has a struggle, something innocent like it happens all the time, an unknowing parent thinking what his child just said was a joke, something common for someone their age, or refusing to believe it, reaffirming a lie to his child, a young child that grows making himself believe a lie and grow confused by what it is that it feels and by what it is supposed to feel.

Its the only think i can imagined being sort of taboo, as it is not as known and in many cultures you are what you are born with, but in reality its way more complex :facehoof:, and everyday something new is studied about it, there are theories about a Male an Female Brain, the job of hormones in the Pregnancy period, its way more than that, even though its normal.

It could also explain Sweetie living for long periods of time with Rarity, as i imagined his parents think of her as a role model for a woman, and that Sweetie should be more like her and learn from her.
Very nice story, have my fav and a thumbs up, i will follow this story very close

P.D. i hope my ramblings doesn't spoiler the story :twilightblush:

Anyone is allowed to ramble! Heh, to be honest some of you might have spoiled it or none of you... THAT'S WHY ITS A MYSTERY but guessing is not illegal. 2248164

I have never had a huge backlash like that yet...it might happen though o.O. 2248118

I have no idea what's up with her. Honestly, maybe there isn't anything wrong with her. Perhaps she's just becoming a teenager. I mean, how old are they?

Slighter older than on the show, thus she can use magic. 2248205

Depressed?
Self doubt seems to be key here.

I'm sorry, but it's.... coming across as too random and incoherent. It's understandable that SweetieBelle can't explain herself clearly to others, but the reader should be able to get an inkling of what she's talking about. I can't. I literally cannot make heads or tails of what is supposed to be bothering Sweetie Belle.

She feels weird because--- she's easily distracted? She likes her old doll? She thinks about books? What? look, SPELL IT OUT FOR THE READER.

2248200 Gotcha :pinkiehappy:
you know what would be funny, if by the end, you keep tabs on who said what and host an award ceremony for the people that guessed some of the story :pinkiecrazy:

Confidence problems are there, yes............ 2248250

No because its a mystery.... 2248253

I will consider that...2248256

2248253 it could help you if you think about it in a different way, what is it that make her distracted? In what way she likes her old doll? what kind of books? if you ask yourself the right questions the answers start flowing

2248267 Best Statement i have read :twilightsmile::twilightsmile::twilightsmile:

Okay, based off of the current comments and my own theories, here's what could be "wrong" with Sweetie Belle:

1) She's maturing, and it's scaring her

2) She's homosexual, and has weird feelings that she doesn't understand

3) She COULD be transgendered (as hinted by 2248164), which would be an interesting choice that hasn't ever been done with Sweetie Belle

4) Nothing is wrong, and she's just overreacting.

Either way, you got me hooked. I'm following this and giving you a thumbs up.

So far the top reason people are assuming is homosexual lol, is it always so black and white as that? :twilightblush: 2248294

I can't pin down what her issue is. Is she depressed? Transgender? Gay? You're tugging at my brain, which is a good thing.

So far I see nothing 'taboo' though.

First a bit of awkwardness that needs clearing up. "I just want to have fun with my friends and hay have actually fun doing it instead of just pretending..."
I don't know why the hay is in there and actually needs to be actual or ...actually have fun while doing it....
Maybe I'm over-thinking this but this is my theory on the taboo.
Sweetie is having urges to either become a baby or have her own. I hope this gets updated soon, I can't wait to find out what the taboo is.

Ciao darling:raritywink:

Pony puns always kill me, I wanted to say Heck. Also interesting guess, that is the third one or maybe more? 2248471

I wanted to like this, but there's way too many run-on sentences and haphazard pacing. One moment you're trying to rush through the story, the next Sweetie is being melancholy and introspective, and then you're going off on tangents.

It might have been intentional, but the noticeable number of typos and lack of commas makes me think otherwise. It really broke immersion for me: everything is too vague, oddly-paced, and difficult to follow.

Before I read this i shall say if it makes my mind explode then you have done a good job with this.

Also I won't read this right away.

I.
Love.
This
Just fix the errors and it's the best thing since MLD (which I honestly didn't like, but I'm using it for a rating scale.)
