Tremendous! :pinkiegasp:

The cowgirl position at the end was an unexpected, yet welcome, surprise.

This could totally turn into a series of her screwing other non-ponies.

Chapter 2: Giant Fruit Bat.

If you decide to stop here, that's perfectly fine. You've already exceeded my expectations. I just look at this story and see a lot of untapped potential. It would be awesome to see it continue.

Mane Goodall? The connection to Jane Goodall bothers me, yet I respect that.

awesome, have a moustache :moustache:

Commence read.

Good for Spike.

Interesting veterinarian.

I saw the title, and immediately thought of a certain level from Donkey Kong Country 2.
Then I saw the author... Good story overall.

Fave. Because it's clop, and it seems to have good reviews.

I got a wing boner, and I love it!:pinkiecrazy:

DKC2 is my favorite SNES game... I suggested the story title... Coincidence?

Tsk tsk. No-one's seen the real humour potential of this.

Angel Bunny.

It'd be great.

Well me and my hive will be back after having a orgy thanks to your story. Thanks we haven't had this much fun in years!!

2210453
I can see it all now. Angel Bunny keeps faking injuries so he can continue screwing the vet. After months of hot bunny-on-pony sex, Fluttershy eventually walks in on them. She finds Angel Bunny buried to the hilt inside Goodall's pooter.

"Angel Bunny!" Fluttershy said, shocked, "You've been cheating on me?!" :flutterrage:

Hot acting over here!:moustache:

"This mare has has more animals in her than the Canterlot Zoo" I loled so hard

Gods, this was amazing, I need a smoke now just reading it:rainbowlaugh: You done a very great job, few errors here and there but nothing major, very much enjoyed it, always liked that mare, she seems really cool for a background pony:twilightsmile: This story made my night, very great job bro:yay:

2210677 Gods, I would KILL to read a story like that:rainbowlaugh:

The title put me off a little, but the read...was just as ugly. Sexy, but ugly. Twilight's idea was not that a veterinarian would know more about dragons, but that a vet would provide a different perspective. Clop is only truly enjoyable when everyone is as in-character as possible, and here, Twilight should have taken issue as soon as Goodall called Spike a pet. True, this fanfic is hard to take seriously, but there's still no clear indication by the end that the pet deal was a joke. This could have been written just as well without degrading Twilight's best friend.

So, yeah, downvote. There are already too many people who fail to see Spike is just as important as the "mane six," and the last thing this fandom needs is anything trying to make it look like he's part of an inferior species...even if it's just a clopfic. I'm already sore at one otherwise-excellent writer from being an imbecile in that regard.

2211665
agreed - Spike is not a pet

2211665

People rage about Spike not having enough stories. Now, people are getting angry that he is called a "pet"? The episode is what brought him to the vet in the first place, as he cannot be treated by normal pony doctors. Assuming that the vets have treated pet dragons before, it seems logical that Twilight would bring him in as a "pet".

There are already too many people who fail to see Spike is just as important as the "mane six,"

Spike is, even if Spike-fans don't want to accept it, a minor character. His role is crucial to the show as he plays a good friend and a naive little boy, but, he is still a minor character. Yes, he had episodes made for him, but they're under-toned by the amount of non-appearance/speaking he has in the rest of the show.

and the last thing this fandom needs is anything trying to make it look like he's part of an inferior species...even if it's just a clopfic

There's a lot of "the last thing this fandom needs..." going around. It's getting old, really. You're welcome to believe Spike is appearing inferior but honestly there's a lot worse in this fandom then minor character discrimination.

Am I trying to justify a clopfic? Yuh-huh. It's still a story!

2211665 I concur, but it goes well with the tone of the overall series, where Spike seems to be well liked, but still considered sub-equian.

"Cunny"

God i despise this word.

2211905 2211928 I think you ignored some of what I wrote, dude. Twilight didn't bring him in as a pet, she brought him in for a medical perspective from a different angle. The concept of bringing her little brother to a vet was supposed to be funny, but paints a very ugly picture when taken any further. Spike can read, write, and speak perfect English, be educated on an academic level, think critically, express complex emotions, understand the workings of an economy, socialize with ponies as an equal, and hold down a job. If he still qualifies as a pet, that implies either slavery or a very kinky relationship.

And, minor character? That's garbage, too. The show is about friendship, not ponies. Spike is the lead character's closest, oldest (with the exception of Cadance), and most loyal friend. He's known her longer than the others, he knows her better than the others, he does more for her on a daily basis than anyone else could even if they tried, and he provides a constant line of communication with her mentor (who also happens to control the sun and rule their country). His difference in age, species, and gender are all superficial, and his lack of Element status is nothing more than a result of his those demographic differences. How many minor characters also happen to be the lead character's family, the only male presence, and the second character introduced in the series? Anyone who seriously thinks Spike is a minor character is really not paying attention. Or is just paying so much attention to ponies that they don't give a rat's ass about anything else (not even a smart-alecky underdog with an ambiguous, possibly tragic, backstory who is absolutely devoted to his friends).

Twilight send Spike to a veterinary? :twilightoops:

2212120
You do realize I didn't come up with the whole "veterinarian" shtick myself, right? This is supposed to be a clopfic-ified version of the vet scene from Secret of My Excess. You know, Twilight taking Spike to the vet to see if she knows anything about his sudden growth, because normal pony doctors don't know anything about him. Twilight never refers to Spike as her "pet". How is the vet supposed to know? She works only on animals and pets, so why is it so strange that she'd refer to Spike as a pet? Rather strange that you'd downvote a fic after assuming I'm trying to portray Spike as being lesser than the main6. :rainbowderp:

You're thinking too hard about a clopfic. Relax and clop. :moustache:

You know, I've said a lot of things about Clopfics, but this is the first time I can honestly say: "This fic bored me."

I can't even tell you why exactly. Yes, the intro was rushed, but that's a common problem with clopfics. Yes, the characters were barely more than cardboard cutouts of sexual fantasies, but once again other clopfics have done it and it didn't bother me. The descriptions of the sex scenes could have been more detailed, but they weren't bad either.

I dunno it just radiates an overall aura of "meh".

2212198

Her medical training didn’t include much of anything on dragons, but her quirky interest in animals led her to study them on her own...

I advise you to go and wait in the waiting room...I find that pets tend to calm down more easily with their owner out of their thoughts.

Twilight blinked a bit, raising an eyebrow, but remembered that the vet probably knew better than she did about pet care.

I'm listening.

...Seriously, though? Downvotes on my comments? Preeeetty sure I'm arguing a legitimate point here. For a clopfic about Spike, there are quite a few people who are okay with him being referred to as an animal.

2212267
What exactly are you trying to accomplish, here? I already said that I'm not trying to portray Spike as being "lesser" or anything. You're just interpreting it that way, for whatever reason. Twilight never directly refers to Spike as her "pet". You're taking this way too seriously.

2212271 Well, if you can't explain those examples of Goodall referring to Spike as an animal and Twilight accepting the implication that he's a pet, I guess the only issue is that you didn't put much thought into the subtext of this story. Nothing against you, I suppose, but you don't seem able to write Spike very well.

2212286

Goodall referring to Spike as an animal

Like I already said, she works on pets all day, with ponies bringing them in...is it really THAT far-fetched for her to assume this is the same?

Twilight accepting the implication that he's a pet

She's not "accepting the implication that he's a pet". That's just your interpretation of that sentence, not my meaning. She's reminding herself that she's a student, not a veterinarian. The vet's gonna know more about this kind of stuff than she does.

2212293 Okie-doke.

Still, though...it's kinda gross that Spike had sex with someone who's into beastiality. Not a complaint about your story, just a random something I thought I would mention.

SW

A very interesting take on the scenario that unfolded. I'll leave my thoughts after finishing.

2212198

"You do realize I didn't come up with the whole "veterinarian" shtick myself, right?"

"Bronystories gave me the idea! He's the one you want! Go downvote his stories!" :twilightoops:

Seriously though, I think you addressed this particular reader's concern quite well.

2212302
Trust me, considering the material I gave him to work with, Nostalgia Schmaltz exhibited amazing restraint. If I were writing it now, I might have established Dr. Goodall's bestiality by having her pour honey on her cunt for Winona the dog to lick off.
:applejackconfused::applecry:

2212120

"Spike is the lead character's closest, oldest (with the exception of Cadance), and most loyal friend."

In this clopfic, Spike is manipulated and molested by a perverted vet, and yet this story still treats him with more respect than several canon episodes.

In "Dragon Quest," the mane six all acted like jerks towards Spike. Rainbow Dash made fun of his apron and they all laughed at him. Dash also called him a "lame dragon." These racist ponies fear dragons because they know nothing about them. The mane six practically make Spike feel ashamed for being a dragon. "You're not like other dragons, but why would you want to be?" I'd have an existential crisis too if all my friends were unabashedly prejudiced towards the other members of my species.

An don't even get me started on what they did to his personality in the "Spike at Your Service" episode. If you want my opinions, feel free to check out these blog posts.

I can tell you feel passionately about Spike's portrayal. I do, too. He's awesome. I just wish the writers of the show saw him like you do. Instead, Spike often plays the role of butt monkey.
:moustache:

Not great but not bad either, it felt like it was missing something.

Ok. Can some tell me if this is a rape fic or not before I start reading it. If is, this story is not for me.

2213076
Ms.Goodall is more than willing to "treat" Spike.:raritywink:

So, no rape.

2213090 LoL. Ok. thanks for clarifying.

Judging by the amount of up votes my comments received, the comments of others and making the feature box, it definitely sounds like this story warrants a sequel.

What do you say, NS? Care to give the people what they want? :unsuresweetie:

2213143
You just keep adding more and more to my backlog of stories to write!

2212120

Trust me, I do pay attention to the show. He is a minor character based on the very minor viewings and lines he has compared to the ponies. He isn't rounded out like a lot of the other characters. We barely know what his past was like with Twilight as a filly, and not much has been put into him personality wise. I mean, he does have a personality, and a bit of story, but he isn't rounded. He's minor in the many worlds of literature.

On top of that, he was brought into the vet's office because he didn't have any emotions besides the lust and greed of objects. He was basically a pet and literally could say "me want" or something like that. You think that classifies as a sentient being? Or an animal? Really, I perceived him as a pet at that point because he acted a lot like my dog. Easy to distract, and quite stupid when I pretend like I threw a ball (Not denying animals don't have intelligence. There are a lot of smart animals).

I can't think of much more to add. Really, I believe you may be biased if you're a Spike-fan. I like Spike's minor character, but he's a naive little boy who can be tricked easily if the reward is worth it. That sums up a lot of his mindset (even though it can be more expansive than that.)

2212483 That was beautiful! Spike would be proud to know he has such a loyal fan :moustache::eeyup:
