Interesting! I liked it! I especially liked the part where the Mane Six talk to each of their families in turn after the coronation. Please write a sequel! It'll be interesting to see how the two former Earth ponies get used to wings and horns!

I expected this to happen in the episode as well, In fact on my dA account I put a poll to see who else thought that and so far I've only gotten Yes's or Maybe's but no No's!

I'm sorry, but I didn't enjoy this one very much.
It feels to me like a very large majority of this fic is just what happened in the episode with "I" changed to "We."
The part with the families was okay, although it didn't feel like it was very much developped. Could have used a little longer discussion.
All in all, I think you should have diverged more from the episode, to give this fic some of its own identity.
With some tweaking to make it further different from the original ending, it could become quite interesting.

'They all took off for their first flight together'?
I think it should be 'They took off for their first flight as princesses together' or 'They took of for their first royal flight together', because Rainbow Dash and and Fluttershy already have flown. I just thought I'd point that out. Other than that, it was all in all a great one shot.

I can see your point there.
"They all took off for their first flight together" however could be interpreted a different way though seeing as its basically the first time all six of them flew together naturally as Fluttershy and Rainbow were Pegasi which are the only ponies who can fly and Rarity flew with fake wings and the others needed a balloon or in Pinkie's case a machine. But it can also confuse a few people depending on how you look at it.
So "They took off for their first flight as princesses together" does make a little more sense.

And honestly, if Alicorn-ification had to happen, I'd have wanted it to be this way...
Either that, or as a series progression turning them all into Alicorns as S4 drags on.
But that's just me. Still a great adaptation of the final bits of the episode for the story; accurate, well put-together, etc. etc.

i wish they had made the story go this way my only complaint is that the part where they sung " the princesss of harmoney comet " , it dosen't sound right when i tryed to sing it myself
I really wish this is how the episode ended. Besides, if Twilight ascended because of friendship, why do her friends just get pushed aside? Anyway, good story.

I'll have to agree with 2211954 on this one. A big chunk of the story feels like a cut/paste-job with minor edits.
I like the idea, and what you added to the story was quite good albeit short, but on the whole it's not enough to make the story stand in it's own right.

While the stuff you did write on your own (specifically the post coronation scenes) was pretty good, I'm disappointed that a good portion of the dialogue was pretty much ripped from the show. Still though, it was a decent quick read. Now I can see them supporting each other while learning about their new aspects (Twilight and Rarity teaching magic to the others, RD and Fluttershy teaching the others how to properly fly, Applejack teaching... something)
