That's a great story! I feel Snowy Slopes only gets characterized a bit too late in the story, but I guess this does suit the way the story is told, and it was done so well done, when she eventually was characterized. Love it!

Also, the first depiction of Luna I actually enjoy. ;)

I actually struggled with characterizing Snowy in a unique way, and I wish I could have done more with her early on, but everything I tried just ended taking some of the shine off of Celestia.

O if only i could count the ways i love Princess Trollestia. A nice short story with a simular episodic feel to the original show. You took  a simple problem and made it enjoyable.

Quite enjoyable indeed. The Princesses are always such fun in fics when done right. Plus immortals are just fun to write.

That was both wonderful and amazing. Really nicely done, and full of insight into the character.

The only thing that pissed me off was that Celestia supposedly values honesty, yet she still lied thoug her teeth (heh).

Abalidoth, have you written something like this before and possibly removed it? I remember when I was newish to fimfiction that I read a story that was pretty much verbatim to this one. With that said, I don't want to sound like I am calling you a thief of someone else's story, I was just curious.

Yet another amazing fic I read on EqD that I had no idea was here. Oh well. Faved now at least.

Nicely done; it's always interesting to see the various takes on our beloved Princess.  This one leans towards the "mischievous but loving queen" end of the spectrum, and while this is perhaps less canonical than Celestia, Whimsical Saint, it's a blast to read.

Partially. Tea tree oil, like eucalyptus oil, has antibacterial properties. Eucalyptus oil is common in mouthwashes, but tea tree oil sounds more exotic.

THis was a really nice, cute story which brought out the humorous side of Princess Celestia. THis is going  into my favorites list.

This short story IMHO is one of the best if not the best fanfics I've read that involves Celestia as the central character, not during her time rising to the position nor when she had to face Luna. It keeps her thousands of years of life experience intact, but at the same time shows her flaws and limits without turning her into Molestia or holding some deep dark secret.

I'm just adding this to my read list (It's called my favorites list, but I use it as a comprehensive list of all the fimfictions I've read because this site lacks such a list of it's own for some reason. ) now, but this is in fact one of the first MLP fan fictions I ever read. It was back on FanFiction.net and I didn't realize until now that it was also here. So, congratulations on doing your part back then to convince me that these fics were something worth reading.

While doing this I noticed that FanFiction.net reports this story as having 5,524 words, but FimFiction clocks it at 5,332. That's a rather significant discrepancy, (192 words!) and equally bizarre is the fact that upon doing a binary diff of both texts I found no differences. Clearly these sites have a fundamental disagreement over the definition of a word. For the record, OO.o agrees with FimFiction.
