1000 years ago, Princess Luna fell. She became a feared and dangerous pony named Nightmare Moon. The beloved Princess Celestia stopped her, and banished the Nightmare, and her Sister, to the moon. Yet what actually happened all those years ago? Why did a Princess of Equestria turn to darkness? How did Princess Celestia permanently banish her sister away? What truly happened?
This is a story I originally wrote for class. :) Yet I was pleased with the story, and posted it here as well! Hope you enjoy!

Well-written, although the plot seems a bit played out.
Kind of original, and kind of not, if you know what I mean.
The only problem in terms of relating to the show is that Celestia knew Luna/ Nightmare Moon was only banished for a thousand years, although in your story she assumes that her sister is banished forever.
All in all, an overdone story, but well written enough to make it a decent read. I give it 6.5/10.

A very nice - and scary - glimpse into Luna's mind, and I was almost as shocked as Celestia about when the darkness first appeared.
That's the problem with being the older/eldest sibling. You tend to forget the others have feelings too, as you're too caught up in your own problems.

Funny how, in Nightmare Moon's timeline, all plant life grew at twice the rate than normal plant life. Plus it was the same temperature as Equestria's Prime timeline.
