Oh, don't worry, I have no intention of letting this "die." It's too much fun to write. However, to ensure quality, I tend to take longer than most writers.

Chapter 2 is finished and currently in the editing stages, which can take a week in itself--and that's perfect timing since I'm waiting to make sure next week's episode doesn't seriously mess with my plans. After that, though, we're live! Please look forward to it!

Great update to the storyline as it seems that there is some real hostility between Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash. Dash, must of done something pretty bad enough to set Scootaloo off like this.

Nice update showcasing Pinkie's unique way of broadcasting this race, along with her helpful co-hosts.  

I wonder what's up with the Twilight Sparkle cliffhanger and does it have something to do with the overall race ?

Please do keep up the good work upon such a great storyline like this one as I do hope for a patched up friendship between Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo.

Varies. The Trail/Aura of Awesome(tm) varies in intensity depending on how much energy a pegasus is expending at the time. If they're on auto-pilot, it can be not there at all or pretty light. If they're really pouring it on, it can become quite wide and bright!

Just what is Zecora up to?  A "pact" with Twilight?  It sounds like Scootaloo's metamorphosis into Fireball was... foretold... and then they tried to prevent it?  I don't even care about the race results now - I want to know what's going on!
