:applecry:

Anybody who has lost a companion can really relate to this story.

I know I sure as hell can.

All the feels it hurts me, because my family owned a dog which we all loved and when she pasted we all where sad. :fluttercry: I knew her since I was a baby and couldn`t even do for myself. When I cried she was the first one their like I was a new born puppy to her. :applecry:

But even in the darkest moments of a life gone you must remember the good times and keep being strong for her, even when its your time and you two must meet once more. :pinkiesad2:
This was truly the best story about real life to ever be made, and I sorry for your loss. :raritydespair:

Dude...I know how you feel...honestly...I do. I just lost my dog Rosie. She's been in our family for 13 years...She has been my companion forever...but sadly we had to put her down Monday...I am sorry for your loss, but I'm grieving right along with you...Stay strong...I myself am trying to and barely succeeding right now. I don't have enough things right now to take my mind off of it...like at all...Honestly...I'm lonely and slightly lost without her...this story...well, let's just say this story has brought me to a new height of depression...I'm actually crying right now over it...and I'm surprised my spelling isn't that bad...Alright, well I'm rambling...good luck Distorted Truth...

Signed,
Ambro

Nicely written and, more importantly, my condolences. The most heartbreaking times I've had were when my pets have passed. :fluttercry:

These people helped me.

I feel your pain, and I offer all my condolences to you, my friend. It's been seven years since I lost my dog Kuma, and four months since I lost my other dog Gunny. Both were great companions and I would never trade them for any other dog. But I do have a question...

Can I use this idea for my story Comradery and Beyond? This would be great for when I need a sad one shot in the story. :twilightsheepish: :fluttercry:

I shall! Thank you my friend.

My condolences for your loss. I too know what its like to lose a pet. One of our dogs was put down a couple of years ago and the other one died a few months later.

This was a heart-wrenching story. You have managed to fit so many feels into so few words.

Yours is the second story I have seen on this subject (the first being one I wrote myself). But I guess this is a subject few people want to write about, which is understandable.

Thank you for writing this. You've earned a thumbs up and a favourite from me.

2153449 thank you. I just finished reading yours. Not bad

I Feel Your Pain Too, My Friend, Two or Three Years Ago, Me and My Family Lost (D-O-G) Dee-O-Gee in a Car Accident, We've All Have Suffered a Terrible Lost to Our Family's Lovable Dog. R.I.P D-O-G :applecry: :fluttercry: :raritycry:

i know your pain. when i was 5. my dog Simba (named after Simba from Lion King since i loved the movie) was hit by a truck. Steve (my brother) was driving by the truck and his car got covered in his blood. at first sight of it. i thought it was red gelitan. then. i realized. soon. his grave is in our backyard. everyday. i go to the backyard and pay my respects to him..:applecry: i miss you Simba :fluttercry: R.I.P Simba. ??? - ??? *cries alot*

:ajsleepy: *Keeps his hat low to mask the tears in his eyes* I am not normally moved so easily.......but..... I cannot deny how I have felt this same pain several times over......

5 of 6......

I had 6 dogs myself, slowly found or adopted one by one over time till we had all 6 in one house...... and over time they would each pass one by one, and sadly none of them, no matter how well we took care of them, was able to pass peacefully..........it's so quiet and lonely now with only one left.....and I can't help but think he feels the same......

*lowers his hat to his heart as he remembers his cherished friends*

I give on a moment of silence for all the cherished loved ones, the kindred spirit companions, that we have all lost in this life.......

*Places his hat back on his head and smiles* A wonderful little story, a wonderful testament to your fallen companion.

:ajsmug: Take care, my friend. And carry on.
