Man, Scootaloo is tough to impress. Apparently she's so used to weird crap going on all the time that she just shrugs it off when a wishing well shoots out fireworks and speaks to her in a mysterious voice.
So anyway, not a bad start so far. A little low-key, perhaps, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I'm not sure why it has so few votes, especially out of almost 100 views. Maybe because it seems like it's barely started? I know I don't like to vote on stories before they're well underway. This certainly deserves better than that 1-to-1 split, though.
The grammar and such is mostly pretty good. There was one spot where two characters spoke in the same paragraph, and it was awkward in the place where Sweetie Belle's line was incorporated into the narration, but other than that, just a few scattered minor things. My only real gripe is the bit with Pinkie jumping into the narration. Blatant fourth-wall breaking is honestly just kind of annoying.

Seems like Scoot's wish was probably "for wings like Rainbow Dash's" or to be able to fly like her, or some such. I wouldn't be surprised if, once Scootaloo finds her, it turns out Rainbow is in just the opposite situation, suddenly finding herself unable to fly, because they swapped wings or something.
By the way, I was amused by the typo in this sentence: "I was flying through the jungle, dodging the wines that could ensnare me." That was the only funny one, but there were some others too, like "Then the squeaked opened"

I'm not entirely certain what that means, but it made me laugh anyway. But don't worry about it if I just exactly predicted what's going to happen next or something. I just like to throw out random bits of speculation into my comments, without expecting them to be confirmed or denied. I just figure I'll find out whether I'm right or wrong in due time as the story progresses, so I don't want to interfere with your plan or anything.
Or maybe "Rrrrrr...rrrr..." means something else entirely. Almost sounds like you're growling at me, heh.

A staircase, huh? That seems...well, doomed to fail, pretty much. Silly that it didn't occur to either of them to simply have Dash sit on a small chunk of cloud while Scoot guides them down.
Oh well, any excuse for a slumber party, as far as Scoots is concerned.
