This... this is an amazing opening, and I'm incredibly excited to read the next chapter which is already posted, but I wanted to stop and comment that I have no idea where this is going. Is this going to be an adventure to oppose Discord? This Witch person Luna mentioned? Was Discord stopped by that dark magic? I don't know what's happening. D:

All this jumping around in the timeline is confusing, and it doesn't help that the only section not labeled "Day 1" is Clover's, even though the sections in this chapter are clearly different points in time from the two sections in Chapter 1, which are themselves different points in time both labeled "Day 1". I know the sections are named different things, Armageddon, Comprehension, something else... but it just seems needlessly complicated. I don't know, you're the one who's writing this, you have a better idea of what you're trying to do than I do, maybe I'll understand it in a few chapters, but for now I'll just be confused.
Despite how it may sound, I am enjoying this story so far, and I'm definitely looking forward to more. Particularly hoping you continue where the second section of Chapter 1 left off, with Celestia and Luna finding Twilight in a crater, soon. I'm most eager to find out what was going on there.

I know what buck means. There's just no horse-specific word for the concept I wanted. If I'm limited to just "stallion" and "colt" it makes it awfully hard to create any nuanced meaning. And there won't be any more jumping around in the timeline. That was for the prologue only.
