Yep! It took awhile, but I'm back!  I won't be putting out words like I did before though, for a few reasons

First reason is that, yeah, I put out a lot of story real fast before, but that story was sub-par. Now I take my time in my writing instead of just throwing words down on the page. I also got involved in the Fo:E community, and I now have 2 editors and a bunch of prereaders, so that holds up the process a bit. Totally worth it though.

Second, I start a new job on tuesday, so my free time won't be what it is now. I still plan on getting at least a chapter a week done though.

Anyways, as always, leave a comment on what you think of my story, and don't be afraid to rate! I know it's only one chapter, so a lot of readers will withhold their rating, but you CAN change your rating by clicking on the star rating you want to change it to. This does in fact change your rating of the story, even if you can't see the change happen due to a large number of ratings and a small rating change.

Lol, in any case, the desperate housewife thing was well played, I think, and I wonder what the Steel's reaction is going to be... Also, that secret the town was keeping was deployed strategically in the story, in other words, I really like your pacing. I'm on the edge of my seat now, cause I just KNOW that shit is going to hit the fan. No one stays that happy in the wastes for long...

Also, in the first chapter, you introduce one pony, the pony who killed Ocean, twice. I dont think it was intentional, you may want to edit it. Anyhoof, keep writing! I want MOAR!

Couple of peoples dont read side fics until PH is not over, after that, its gonna be avalanche of comments. And ayep itsa good to see some normal live in Eqestria. even if itsa borders or distant lands, because sometimes itsa looking like there onle raiders slavers and monsters, ofcorse not, itsa plesure you begining your story from something more positive and realistic.

This is an interesting fic so far. I like the characters you have included and the underlying subtexts. It's a nice deviation from the run-and-gun super dark Fallout EQ fics that are the norm. I do think you could do a better job incorporating the Fallout aspects into the fic, the Fallout theme just seems like a footnote right now. Will be interesting to see how Errant and Spanner work together, and I see some good character development in the horizon!

I saw a few errors that really bugged me (such as 'alot', or some misplaced/non-existing commas), but that's just me. Something more apparent was your occasional lack of verb consistency. At other times, I cringed because of the distance between the subject and the noun/verb of your sentences, but overall, you did well.

And while I enjoyed this chapter, it's killing me inside to not know what was in the two thirds of it that you had to axe. Oh well! Still a good chapter.

To the rest of you, I must apologize. Chapter 6 is... not even started just yet. I recently lost my job and was evicted from my home, and... well, things are just now getting settled again. I plan to start Ch. 6 sometime in the next day or two.

so, how are things? hope things have settled down a bit, sounds like you got a raw deal. In any case though, know at least one avid reader of this fantastic fic is waiting with bated breath for more! I really like how this is set in one town, but there's still so much story in it, you know what I mean? One doesn't have to travel the wasteland to have an adventure, and this fic proves it.

I have just read this fics and i must say i really enjoy it and what it is leading up to. Many questions rising in my mind about what happens next and i hope there will still be more chapters in this

Dude, we need new chapter

I want to start off by saying that I enjoyed this for the most part, I'll get to that. I like your characters. There were minimal errors. And your descriptions and world building are interesting.

The only problem I had was one that almost had me stop reading halfway through. You have a tendency to repeat information. A character does something or expresses something and you follow that by explaining it. At best this is word padding, at worst it's insulting. I realize that you probably don't mean it to but it comes off like you don't trust us readers to understand what just happened.

Other than that you did a great job and I'll be reading the next chapter as soon as I have time.

WooHoo! I'm glad to see this taking off again. I've been a huge fan of the characters and really enjoyed it as a 'change of pace' from the standard adventure fair. There's a reason it has been on my top five FoE favorites since I first started reading it.

PS most of the other really good fic stop writing too so its all good. and now you have stuff from season 3 to install if you wish can't wait... also are you keeping them in the city or going off an anther wasteland adv? just dieing to know
