This is possibly the most clever poem I've seen. Nice job on keeping it to 1000 words, it just makes everything that much better. After all a picture is worth 1000 words. I wouldn't mind seeing some more of this from you.

And half the image is purple. There is a technique for everything, I find a description of showing doesn't convey to me. When you're lost in that sleepy bliss, there can't be any showing the reader. That would take you outside their head. For me, can't work.
