SPARTANS are super soldiers 3 times bigger than normal humans and are trained from their birth to become commandos and have to go under extreme augmentations.
ODSTS are the futuristic SWAT and are basically normal humans.

Look normally I'd agree with you personally I hats Halo with a burning rage. But there's not enough FoE crossovers and at least it's not another "Courier gets shot and gains amnesia," or "Broken water talisman," which are just retellings of New Vegas and Fallout 1. I agree Halo is a over hyper FPS with a faceless one dimensional main character that started the FPS craze (it also pisses me off that they said they were done then said F*** you we're making a new trilogy but that's beside the point). Halo had real potential for great story and maby some of it will show.

Yes, Halo 3. Both Halo 1 & 2 had PC releases. Halo 3 did not. As such, I have not yet played Halo 3, ODST, Reach, or the recently released Halo 4.

No. I do not think that humans, and especially not your typical spacemarines should have anything to do with the setting of Fo:E. I can not see in a million years what they are doing on Eques. "We have an world that have been burned more or less to ash more places, ohh lets go there, there is apparently lifeforms that can live in that" Said no one ever.
Fo:E is not just fallout with ponies after all. It is an blend of those two settings into an fine mix. Into something better than both the things it came from.

Okay sorry my bad... So we have super spacemarines and normal ones... Still can´t see what they are doing in the Fo:E wasteland, sorry. I know now that I apparently made an little mistake in how OP they are compared to an wastelander, but they are still spacemarines from outer space no matter what tec you give them.

Me neither. I was prepared to something like this. Sure someone pointing out that I was wrong and so on, but in an civil tone at least. But to maybe better understand my opinion. I have not played halo, any of the games, but I have played my share of Fallout, and read my share of fallout stories, and sorry to say it, I can simply not see how an spacemarine are fitting into this. Yes there is the Stars, and some side stories that say that the stars is aliens, some is even saying that the aliens is humans. Yes there is star metal and a lot of lore about something bigger out in space. But it is normally not touched by anyone. And to then fill the space of the Stars with big humans from an franchise that is quoting the bible with the naming of the characters and hiding other small things... Sorry I can simply not see it happen.

And sure, maybe this is the worst combination for a fic but you have to look on the bright side. Gyvon is pretty skilled in his writing, so there is a good chance that he can make it into something not as generic.

Why would you want to read an side fic, if you don´t want to read the original? I know that there is some good spin-offs to anything, but is it not best to have the knowledge of the original so you don´t miss jokes and what not?
And I can´t see how an Xbox360 wasn´t some kind a waste of money. And I have all 3 consoles and a pc. You have to pay to play online, something free on all other machines. Sure there is some exclusive titles, but the other machines does also have something only they have. But that is my private opinion.

Yep I say spacemarine a lot, because the last few times I tried to put an title other than that on the human soldiers have someone hit me in the heard with that I used an wrong therm. And I know for a fact that all the human soldiers I have seen from the Halo franchise can be called spacemarines, so there is your reason.

I know there's a lot of non amnesia or water based ones look in my faverites heck look in my stories I've favrited every FoE story (I used to track but I have to faverite to track now) and I'm not even saying all stories with them as the plot are bad I'm just saying there's a lot of them. It's more then a clechea at this piont. So some new blood might do us some good heck one of my stories is a crossover with Kingdom Hearts. (also sorry for misspellings this is being written on a Kindle which by the way has over a hundred FoE stories on it)

You should see me. Few hours ago while I was working on an essay for school, I had to rewrite several sentences and one paragraph. Then I got a headache. So I decided to man the hell up and power trough it, not even bothering to look at the aspirin pill next to me.
Eventually (30 minutes ago) it stopped and I still have a nice aspirin pill for sleep.
