Rarity had always been a pony with high aspirations to succeed. With the galaxy now open to her and her planet, being the best in Equestria just doesn't seem to stack up, compared to best in the galaxy. After a great deal of searching, she has found a shop off-world that is willing to sell her latest non-pony designs; the problem? She needs to find someone with a ship that can get them there.
Simon Ortell is your typical cargo hauler. Never staying in one place, always following the credits to his next job. With the current civil war kicking up in the Mandalorian Federation, he, like so many other freelancers, has been making quite a bit of credits off the conflict. Sick of getting shot at, he accepts what should be an easy job moving dresses, of all things. But after a call for help from an old "friend", things are about to get very complicated.
Join this unlikely pair as they run for their lives through the galactic underworld and find themselves the targets of hired guns, bounty hunters and assassins alike.
Set after the events of Of War and Friendship and during the events of On the Side.

Well, that all depends on if I find a way to give them another adventure or something. I might be doing something with those two again, perhaps showing how they're doing as the first pony youths to be brought into the Deathwatch. For now though I'm kinda playing around with this new idea, though I'll throw out any side stories that pop into my head until I start up the next major story arc.

You see my OC image? That is an earth pony. You know WHY my OC is an earth pony?
Because this puts a limit to the kinds of trouble my OC can get himself into.
Perhaps a brief demonstration of earth pony logic paired with a hint of human insanity can better explain.... This is pinkie pie.
She is an earth pony, like my OC. Yet out of all the main six, her capablilities are perhaps the most unusual, random, physics defying and in some instances, scary as hell. 
Now imagine through some unusual and unexplainable turn of events she somehow managed to become a unicorn, complete with "elementary" magic abilities. I think it's anypony's guess where this could go. Needless to say, Reformed Discord would quickly find himself out of work.
Great story nonetheless, I look forward to the next chapter.

Those are all very good points. Honestly, my editor and I figured that being able to bend light made for an interesting dynamic for her character and made more sense for her as opposed to Twilight's ability to bend reality itself.

Fair enough. Not meaning to critique at all, occasionally i get a little over zealous in expressing opinion. Rarity just has a knack for rubbing me the wrong way, both in the episodes, and in fan-fics.

This is a really funny and exciting story in my opinion and I really like the disguised pet scene with Rarity. Though I was wondering or it would be better if she was in disguised as well, but at least it turned out okay for everyone.

Man oh man, that one exciting battle between Simon and Rarity against Vrax a skilled fighter where it's apparent they never fought such a good opponent before him. I like how you kept giving some hope up throughout the battle only to let it down and still managed to find a believable way for the fight to end, I was on the edge of my computer the whole time. Great, great job, Doc. I just hope that they will get the recovery they need as quickly as possible before the bad guys catch up with them and try to kill them.
