As Twilight re-shelves the books in the Books and Branches Library, her home for years, she comes comes across a strange notebook. A notebook with untold power, rivaling the powers of alicorn magic itself. The power within it could turn anypony into one of greed and power, corrupting the pony's mind with its power. In the wrong hooves it could rain chaos. If used in a just way, could aid thousands of ponies in need. But if used by Pinkie Pie, Celestia help us all. Twilight decides to keep it to herself, fearing what could happen if it fell into the wrong hooves.

But can she protect it from herself?

Shenanigans ensue.

A/N: I got this idea after buying Scribblenauts Unlimited today, and I couldn't resist doing it.

Will add tags as the story goes on.

Twilight, on the other hoof, flew threw each shelf, making sure each and every book was accounted for.

:raritywink:

1997181 Thank you! Lemme fix that.

EDIT: Something tells me I should buy Microsoft Word... I don't have it on this laptop and I lost the disk... :twilightsheepish:

please at some point have a afro friendly flying rideable purple metal fast giant griffon? or chafulu?
please? pretty please?
or how about a flying super fast giant fire breathing explosive pinkie pie clone?

1997186 Your welcome.
At the end Twi's like: "Holy mother of Celestia…" :twilightoops:
"WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN!"

1997203 I'll consider it...

I bet I'm gonna get some people asking for stuff...

1997209 you proberly will. mind you just keep it nice and normal...
so bassicly, nothing i suggest.
like a flying rideable fire breathing choclate pooping friendly swimming giant pink giant happy t-rex

1997186 it won't help you if the word is spelled correctly, threw is a word, just not the one you wanted

1997235 Word marks if the word doesn't make sense in the sentence.

1997251
I wouldn't count on it...

I'm interested, nice job.

Any idea how much I love you right now? A lot, that's how much.

1997954 Can I trade in this, "love" for prizes at the prize counter?

We're all screwed. Twilight will have all the books. ALL. THE. BOOKS. And then she'll forget the outside world exists. And then evil will reign supreme. All the while she is lost in the endless knowledge of books.

You have my full and undivided attentio... Well, you have part of my attention.

Notebook plan: step 1. Don't let pinkie anywhere within 50 feet of it...

Scribblenauts unlimited. Try force field, it's cool.

2004911 I know. I beat that game a few days ago. Too much fun.

I threw together a quick pixel art notebook.

Here if you don't want to copy and paste.
If you want a bigger version either PM me or just re-size it using the nearest neighbor type. Don't want any anti-aliasing in pixel art. Oh and of course, feel free not to use it, I won't take offense.

2005430 I really appreciate the picture, but I was thinking of something more drawn and at an angle. Thank you very much for the time and effort, though.

2005459
Time? Effort? This literally took me like two minutes. Oh, and what I would have made had I any actual drawing skills would have looked amazing, but sadly you can not internet your imagination.

2005470 Two minutes is a long time. :unsuresweetie:

Also, I believe researchers are working on implanting skills into people heads like drawing skills, art, etc. I dunno if it'll work, IMO.

He was met with the sight of books, bookshelves, statues, scrolls, and cupcakes flying in mid-air with a myriad of different characteristics
"Twilight!? Where did you-"
He then turned into a pickle.

...

Wait, what? Did Twilight do that by accident? :twilightoops: Hope she can keep her mind level-headed and turn Spike back to normal.

On a parallel note, great story you written! I can't wait to see how Twilight uses the notebook in Ponyville. Will she need to collect Starites? 'Cuz that would be awesome.

(I wonder if there could be a part where she uses the notebook and creates a dimensional-summoning portal and get's the original Scribblenauts hero in Equestria? [The notebook could most certainly handle it, even though there probably isn't such an option available in-game.])

2011855 From experience: When you've gone insane, it's very hard to control yourself.

Plus, those... are actually some pretty good ideas... I'll consider it!

.......................The ending was completely out of left field. I LOVE IT XD

2011871 (munomana)

No problem. Just make sure that if you do use my ideas, you credit me in the author's notes or someplace.

Keep on writing, my friend!

2011951 If I DO use them, I'll credit you with the idea. :raritywink:

Wasn't the globe the object that allowed teleportation?

2012526 Yep, but you needed starites to do so. This isn't the exact same as the game, so I changed it so she can only teleport to places where she's been.

Now I want a notebook... Think of all the things I could do... Also, how fat I would get. Infinite food, and teleportation do not go well together.

2013451 Also, you could make yourself skinny again with an adjective...

2013465
Oh yeah, I forgot you could edit yourself. Well, I'm going to become an invincible, immortal being and eat unlimited bacon.

2013494 THAT'S how you live a life... Also you could end all wars, world hunger, and a bunch of other stuff.

What happens if pinkie gets ahold of this:rainbowderp:
Possible outcome
We all die:pinkiecrazy:

I would have summoned fluffy, adorable ponies to hug forever. :rainbowkiss:
Just hugs though, nothing creepy.

I would love to see Twilight put the adjective powerless on Discord.

Good choice. Scribblenauts Unlimited is a very fun game.

2011855
Actually, using the notebook in the game, you can spawn clones of anyone. This includes Maxwell.

Sidenote, Muno: If you go to Bulletpoint Bayou, you can find Max's brother Scratch. Who, ironically, has the same glasses as the pony. As well, if you add the adjective 'vinyl' to him after unlocking him (make the stall 'clean') you literally get to play as "Vinyl Scratch".

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one to discover it, but I always play as Vinyl Scratch now. :trollestia:

2012526 EDIT: Read that wrong. Can't believe it took me that long to notice. :facehoof:

Yep, but I decided that the globe should be infused within the book to make it easier.

What?... It's my story! My rules. :derpytongue2:

2021969 I got the PC version.

Why hasn't anyone done this earlier?
This is genius
MOAR!!!

pls...

2029207 Those are my thoughts for every story I do. :applejackunsure:

And I promise Moar.

I have been printing out and reading in school where there are less "Distractions" (I'm looking at you youtube). It is a lot easier to notice mistakes on paper.

but Twilight loved books to much to care.

Twilight, on the other hoof, flew througheach shelf,

you fixed the spelling but made another mistake :facehoof:

Sometime, when she stayed up late reading,

shouldn't it bee "Sometimes, "
Ont to the next chapter!!!

Hello me again, I didn't find any mistakes,:yay: looking foreword to the next chapter:twilightsmile:

2042278 Wow, thank you! I'll fix those up ASAP, but I'm gonna go hang out with some friends now. :ajsmug:

I had the stomach bug one christmas.
But then I got Super Scribblenauts game as a gift.
I had so much fun I didn't even feel sick anymore.

2044046 Great to know! Got the game myself about a month ago. Also, thank for the watch! I really appreciate it!
