A strange creature named Yoshi from the Mushroom Kingdom has appeared in fair Equestria. An unknown threat has caused strange occurrences back home, and he needs assistance. Does the root of the problem lie in this new land he has descended upon?
After the origin of the threat is discovered, Yoshi is delayed by an unfortunate injury, giving him ample time to make new friends and form new relationships in Equestria. When the method and opportunity to save the Mushroom Kingdom and go home are revealed, will he do it? With all the new friends he's made, Yoshi may find that leaving Equestria might be more painful than he thought.
Will Yoshi ultimately choose to stay with his new Equestrian pals? Can his Mushroom Kingdom family conquer the danger without him?
Warning: There are non-canon references abound in this story. Be prepared.

Well, it's official. I want to see this update soon. The story is just too funny not too. Besides the fact that I want to see if the infamous power foods make their return. (In Super Mario Galaxy 2 and several of the other Mario adventures their were power ups designed as fruit, vegetables, etc. that gave Yoshi powers. Also, Pirate Yoshi on Nightmare Night please?)

You probably don't want to hear an answer from the author due to biases, but I've been told that one of the likely reasons for downvotes is that it sounded like a fun clop idea that turned out not to be clop. On the other hand, another reason was that people didn't like the idea of the NSFW aspect between certain characters, but as backed by one of the other commenters, it's not really that bad.
Again, you probably don't want my answer, but please do read and give me any feedback.
I don't think you should rewrite out spike's translations unless they are something different than what was actually said.
You could just put, "spike translated" or whatnot.

1) I originally thought of writing more exclamations than the ones I wrote, but I didnt want to take up too much space with them. You could say some of them were being shouted simultaneously and kind of blurred together, like that one, so she didn't fully catch it.
2) They were more focused on the fact that Yoshi was still injured than anything else (yes, even Twilight will focus on injury more than knowledge occasionally

It's so minimal—like maybe five sentences—that there really isn't much of a difference (it was just enough that it warranted the rating, though). Actually, I'm gonna add that.

I flip-flopped a lot trying to figure out whether or not I would write a sequel to this, but I think I finally decided I was done with it. Especially with the time difference, it would have caused all kinds of havoc in Equestria with Fluttershy not being there, depending on how long she wanted to stay.
Wow very interesting start there so Yoshi got worried about Mario and he's taking a long time so he decided to go down there and see what's going on
Oh boy just like Pokemon nobody can't understand the language that they speak especially Yoshi who's not a Pokemon I just used an the example so this is going to be a hard communication with other ponies
