Bear with me here, since this is my first venture into third-person (pony?) storytelling. The concept and prologue were whipped together over the course of two days, so expect a bit of a waiting period for me to figure out how to write in third person without the entire thing being too dull.

I'm working on the next chapter at the moment. Sorry it's taking so long to get anything written on any of my stories, but real life is kinda in the way and there's really no way around it. Sorry!
Huh. Perfect cliffhanger for ending... If I can call it a cliffhanger.
You know, this story is interesting, but I have to say that you need to be careful. Putting ponies in this world could drastically negate what the world was originally about.
Think about it. Ponies in MLP can eat hay and grass easily. (And since they eat eggs-and probably use them to make cupcakes, cakes and other pastries, you could argue that they are omnivores.) And what is in this world?
Hay. Twigs. Leaves. Flowers.
And grass.
Plenty and plenty of grass.
If Twilight is able to eat whatever grows out from the ground, she's not going to starve and will easily survive.
Sure, the main game character, Wilson, could eat flowers, but he had to resort to meat and other foods if he wanted to be stomach content. That's what made the game challenging. Putting a pony in this world where the game exists is giving the pony something like a resort or a temporary vacation unless they are limited.
Make the grass, hay and other plant-like substances inedible, somehow, and you just might pull this crossover off.
I'm not saying that this crossover sucks. It's actually pretty funny, and a cool idea. Just fix this problem, and you're all set.

If I ever get around to it, I've got things somewhat sorted. I'm hesitant to proceed at the moment just in case the game changes any more drastically than it already has. I'll do my best.

No prob. But to be on the safe side, maybe you should put a note or line in your story description saying that you have to change things up in the story so that readers won't get confused as to why the hay some things are radically different than others.
This story is great and I would gladly pre-read it for you if you don't have somone already. For now though except my fave.
Okay, the explanation for why Twilight can't eat the grass because she was a pony; pretty good, and it does fit in with Discord's way of creating something.

I'd hate to burst your bubble, but I don't know whether I'll be able to complete this. This hearkens back to ye day when Don't Starve was in beta, and stuff may or may not be outdated at this point. I'd like to pick this back up in the future, but Memories is taking up all my time at the moment.
