An unemployed stallion with no future, a lovesick foal, a shifty criminal, and a phobic nerd find themselves drawn into one of the singing groups popping up under Ponyville's lampposts. Despite their differences, they have this magical chemistry together. They hope that success will help them all out. Things get totally out of control. Yet they get a taste of having their wildest dreams come true.
This one just sort of flowed out of a random daydream I had while listening to Sha Na Na and Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons. I'm trying this very conversational sort of writing style that I've liked from other writers, but I don't know if I can make it work. There's few things more heartwarming than imagining ponies flipping about the street bursting into song like Grease (at least to me). I'd love any feedback on this idea. Thanks for reading.
This story shares the fictional universe of my other fanfics "Midnight Date" and "A Nightly Romance", so some events and characters will overlap.
