After six years of trying to find a way home, I would have given up at this point and tried to settle down with a mare, if that was even possible at all. I still don't blame him though, it's awfully hard to live in cartoon world and miss home so damn much. Hope he gets a happy endings, whatever that may be.

Comedy yes but it should balance it out with what he has done in the badlands.  Also dont make him hate Celestia just for bringing him to Equestria,  expand on it.  make him feel like he missis home more than before, to a point that he does another up and leave.  Just dont totally forget that his ultimate desire is to go home, and not just another tortured soul in Equestria.

P.S. Just to sweeten things up, I thing Celestia should double cross him in some way to have a true antihero of this story. even if its to protect him or to satisfy Twilight selfish desire to protect him.

Ooooh boy, this is gonna be so good. TD is a total bad-ass now. I can tell he's got that hard-ass "I think about myself first" attitude, but I wouldn't take that as far as to say he's become a total asshole. It's instinct now, y'know?

No, no, no, noooo. Not _foul play_, never _foul play_. Simply a little bit of bureaucratic wrangling. After all, no _laws_ have been _broken_, right? They've simply been applied a little _inventively_. Nothing _wrong_ with _that_.

Ah, no. Bad move, there. See, a good leader protects their people. Celestia being, unarguably, a good ruler, it follows quite simply that she would move to protect her ponies. Even without knowledge of the events of th season 2 finale, we can figure that out. So, the only reason that TD is not painfully restrained by a very p'd off Celestia is that a) she still feels guilty, and is still granting him extroadinary leeway, or b) she is certain that the threat will not need to be implemented, or, most likely, c) a mixture of both. Yes, I say restrained. Luna is fresh out of an era of battling demons and deities, all of which can deal with 'mortal' wounds as though they were but scratches. Celestia has had over a thousand years of dealing with mortal politicians and bureaucrats - she must have refined 'restraint' into an art form by now.
