Not only is the alliance peaceful one (a peaceful one)
Celestia curled up in bed next to her sister, hen raised a single majestic wing. (then)

D'awwwwwwwwwwwwww, that was adorable. Well done.
The end was a little... odd, though. "I can never be apart from you again, so I'm going to come sleep with you!" "... But Celestia, what about the beginning of the story?" "Shhhh, Luna, shhh... don't fight it." "Sister? What are you... HAAAAAAAALP!"
... Okay maybe I got a little carried away there. But the point about Celestia contradicting herself stands. Also if she had meant that literally it would be the most toxic smothering relationship possible.

With so many NLR/SE fics popping up it is nice to see stories that show the relationship between Celestia and Luna as it really is, they are Sisters through and through. Thank you sharing this.
100% Like ratio; as it should be.
This is a good story. It's sweet, it's touching, and really hits how important Luna is to Celestia right on the head of the nail and drives it through the redwood beam with one strike. And surprisingly enough, I'd never thought about how Celestia would look that the moon for that millennium; as the penultimate bittersweet heart-throb. And the scene where she finally breaks down and embraces her little sister took all my d'aw.
Well done, stealer of d'aw's.

Out of all the Celestia and Luna reunion stories I think this one it my favorite.
"You were there, Luna… and you'll always be there. I promise."
...And then Celestia's horn gave off a golden glow. When Luna woke, she was on the moon again.
Jk. I do like the story. A gentle tug at the heartstrings without overdoing anything.
