Though I noticed the other only seemed to us big name game (Halo, Gears Of War, Rock Band) and he only seems to be using the mane 6.  The author also has that story as his main focus, were as I'm setting this up as a side story. Maybe it's just the affinity for Hoennshy talking right now, but it'd be awesome if they took a shot at Pokemon. Even if you're sticking with whatever Pinkie already has (360? I don't even know if Rainbow Six was a multi-console release), maybe a genre shift? It'll get very old very quickly if you keep it to shooters. Though I'm all but certain that was never the intent anyway.

Make Twilight play Skyrim.  Now.  Or I shall burn you.  She will predict the entire story arc in the first 30 minutes of gameplay.  She will read every book all the way through.  And by one hour, she will know more about the lore than anyone else.  I demand you make Twilight play Skyrim.

Fluttershy is fierce. As soon as they started playing I knew some Fluttershy was about to pull some bawss stuff. Hell, she could even put up a fight against Chuck Norris himself, providing she made sure to aim for the head.

The scary maze game...

All right. I'm going to be frank. I didn't really like it. The image of Fluttershy playing a violent game is kinds funny, but Rainbow Six isn't exactly the most appropriate choice. I would've probably found it a lot funnier if it was an absurdly violent game like Left 4 Dead, or Gears of War, or something like that.

Now that my issues with the premise are done with, time for me to whine about the writing itself. There were an alarming number of run-on sentences, inappropriate comma uses, and areas where a comma was needed but absent. And of course, there's my pet issue, which is ending a quotation with a dialogue statement when the quotation includes more than one phrase.

"How about Fluttershy? She came over earlier and asked me if I needed help with anything, she seemed bored," Rainbow said with a shrug.

This segment is a perfect example. Instead of pointing out the flaws, I'll write it in a more correct fashion.

"How about Fluttershy?" Dash suggested, shrugging. "She came over earlier and asked me if I needed help with anything. Seemed pretty bored to me."

And, if I want to get really nitpicky about it, I found the characters didn't really come through that well. Their personalities were fairly muted, and the aforementioned issues with dialogue made it difficult to read what they were saying in their respective voices. And, to top it all off...I'm sorry, but I didn't really find it funny. I ca tell it's supposed to be humorous, but it doesn't really tickle my funny bone.

I would highly recommend getting a prereader of some sort to sort out any of the aforementioned issues that you may miss in future editing. Trust me. It makes a difference.

And before you misinterpret everything I just said, I'm not some overly critical jerk-off who gives scathing reviews to everything. I merely make an effort to point out flaws that others seem willing to overlook. I say all this for your improvement, and you shouldn't be discouraged if I seem a bit harsh. It's all in practice, anyway.

So, final verdict: it's not terrible, but there's a lot of room or improvement. Keep trying.

I think what i find so endearing about this story is how SERIOUSLY all of these ponies take these games.  Fluttershy yells at the NPC's, Celestia thinks she is actually helping...its absolutely adorable!

How about Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit for Rarity? She could be admiring the expensive cars, go online to try racing them on a slow day (Missing all the signs of what your supposed to do). Then, expecting a clean professional race, she gets completely wrecked by the cop players

Speaking as one has played Amnesia, let me tell you that this response is quite accurate. I didn't touch that game for weeks. Though, I did eventually finish it and Frictional Games or whatever their called are launching Amnesia 2. Oh boy.
