Twilight Sparkle gazed upon her book as she read on about the oddly specific chapter on fruit.
"Cocos nucifera, or simply the Coconut, is a member of the Arecaceae family of the sole genus Cocos"

Little did she know that her reading time would be cut short by the arrival of long time rival and part-time sadist Trixie, The Great and Powerful. Engaging in a magic duel, they find themselves locked in an all new battle of wits as they struggle to escape a tiny island in the middle of nowhere. A riveting tale of friendship, self-discovery, and coconuts wrapped up into one impossibly believable story.

FWIW, I think that Twilight made the right call in abandoning the big ship. A coconut wearing a captain's hat? Something about that screams 'Ancient Curse' to me; it's better not to be on Equestria's version of The Flying Dutchman any longer than strictly necessary.

Too true. Many a sailor have been sent to their nutty doom aboard the SS Almond Joy and I doubt either of them would have enjoyed being eternally enslaved to Captain Mounds and his hard-shell crew.

Oh. my gosh! That story was freaking hillarious.
You, sir, have a fav from me. :raritywink:

Too. Damn. Gud. :rainbowkiss:

The next hour was spent by the two entertaining themselves by avoiding each other and thinking about how much better they’d be off somewhere that wasn’t a tiny deserted island. Twilight broke the silence by breaking into an impromptu singing session about the trials and tribulations of being stranded on a patch of sand in the middle of the ocean while Trixie took the opportunity to sing about how much she missed not being stuck with an annoying singing pony. After a catfight of epic proportions, several improvised swirlies, a censored word or two, and a spell that involved more fish than was needed, the two reached a stalemate.

Just for this part this should be turned into a comic :pinkiecrazy:

Good job!

Good stuff

Could be worse.

They could've been hoofcuffed together in a room forced by a Lord of Chaos to be friends while he makes them go through trials because he was bored.

So in hindsight, being stuck on an island isn't so bad.
