(Taken place prior to "Wonderbolts Academy")
Skyball is the most popular aerial sport in Equestria and well known around the world. The princesses decide to hold an open tournament, the winning team gets 1,000,000 bits in prize money and a chance to face off against the Wonderbolts themselves in a final game.
Seeing her chance at stardom, Rainbow Dash assembles an unlikely team to play in tournament. Can the Ponyville Pegasi rise to the occasion, or will they be grounded by the competition?

Only one question lingers.. Is skyball the pony version of volleyball?
Yes, I am wondering what sport Skyball is based off of. Or maybe it's totally unique? Might want to add a description of what Skyball actually is somewhere in this chapter.
Anyway, I love the idea and how you match Rainbow Dash's character pretty much exactly from the show. If you manage to squeeze in Fluttershy and Derpy, then I will be super awesome duperly 120% satisfied.

Even so that's only three other pegasi. Rainbow Dash would still need five more and Scootaloo can't particpate because she's not old enough.

Cloudchaser and Flitter. They can be seen in Hurricane Fluttershy. One of them has a speaking role but I can't remember which.

OK, OK, OK. You are an epic writer! You're righting style is amazing and this concept seems so fun. I was literally talking to the computer screen saying, "Make her goalie, you need to make her goalie, YES!" This story is awesome! I am not easily impressed by righting style but this is just amazing! One tiny mistake, when Dash said, "I gave this a lot of thought." you put though. Besides that this is great! Teach me your ways! Oops I noticed one more mistake. You forgot to put see in this sentence. "Soon she could all of Rainbow Dash and not just her colorful contrail." You seem to have the same problem as me. When I write I am thinking ahed of what I'm writing. But again excited for more.

I'm disappointed I couldn't read this earlier was on vacation. this is one if the story's I've been following and it's looking awesome so far. One thing though I like the idea on what you did with Dizzy twister however I'm kinda making a prediction if your gonna have Dizzy get on opposing team (just a guess on what your going with this) wouldn't she have to live in that town? Not sure on the rules just pointing that out. If this isn't the plan then disregard what I have said. I also loved the part where Fluttershy cheered for her self i can imaging her
