1786145 I was kind of hoping that "dirty" would be the last feeling you got--that was the challenge for me. I boasted that if I were to write such a thing, I would make sure that it was far from vulgar as such a thing could be. It was a stupid boast, but I promised and I tried my best. I'm glad you liked it.
1786146 *chuckles* Nope. Usually my resistance to temptation is legendarily weak, but this time I think I'll be strong over it. I wrote the whole thing mildly detached from the sex... listening to Foreigner. I imagined them in 80's haircuts and leg warmers, and so it all became silly for me as I wrote. Foreigner will forever make me think about lesbian unicorns and I'll never be able to explain that connection.

Also, I like Styx, Metallica, U2, AC/DC, Allman Brothers (not all Country sucks...), Seether, Disturbed, Motorhead, Radiohead, Daft Punk, Gnarls Barkley, Eminem (sometimes), Green Day, Panic! At the Disco... I love a lot of different music genres, and a lot of different artists. Queen, Queensryche, Meatloaf (When in the mood), Spike and the Impalers [Bob Rivers] (the original song-parody singer, far as I know), and anything that isn't country or Skrillex.
this is the first raridash that i have read and, honestly it was brilliant when i expected horrible, so captured im not sure you should stop writing raridash, for the worlds sake, the tenderness was not at all expected
Well, despite my better judgment, I read this. It was nice, decently written, and had only a couple of errors. Overall, it was a nice little addition to your "Songverse," showing the more intimate side of the relationship.

As for Queensryche, yeah. What I like saying is that I was born in the 90s, raised in the 80s. I started listening to Metallica when I was seven, mainly because the song Fuel was used as the title song for Hot Wheels Turbo Racing, one of the most graphically terrible racing games you'll see for the PS2, and still one of the best.
1786723 I loved them for songs that were both insanely catchy and able to not be about sexsexsex (yes the irony is palpable) and then... Dark Horse came out and the level of thought in their lyrics just plummeted. It made me sad. I loved For All the Right Reasons... "Savin Me" is a good song

Haven't finished them yet, and I'm trying to see if I can actually sing good enough to do it justice. This is highly unlikely, since my voice is terrible for singing.

Well, now I've read 7 clop stories (8 if you count your "LoL Twi has weird fetishes" one) and I can say that this was handled quite well, for what it is. Not unnecessarily vulgar, and the characters stayed true to their roots. (Though I have to ask, how much older is Rarity like 5 years, more?) I can totally see Rainbow needing a rather large kick start to get going...
And now for the worst possible use of these emoticons. Forgive me...

Dashie as inexperienced, adorable. You voice Rarity quite well here, I love how patient she is with Dash. That is certainly one heck of a way to voice your request for affection, have your marefriend come home while you are taking care of yourself. The dialog was just enough to get the point across, but not overly wordy, and you managed to avoid the worst of the porn cliches. Bravo, you should consider doing more.

Why can't there be more of these kinds of clopfics. Not the stupid "Let's buck," stuff but an actual emotional fic in which the sex is just a flowing part of a good story. This was a good clopfic (never thought I'd say that ever) the characters were well written and the actual story behind it was good. Bravo good sir bravo

Bravo! As with everything of yours I've read, so well crafted. I am absolutely facinated by the way you write for Rainbow- I love the complexity and contradictory nature you give her.
Rarity's more mature, worldly character plays off of that so well, and of course those disparities both make them a great couple and keep it interesting, for it's so like real life. But, I'm fairly certain you don't need me to tell you that.
The intimate material, I shan't touch upon except to say I think the pacing was very good, the descriptions were well-done, not too vague but not vulgar or overly exacting, and... details make the story, I shall leave it there.
I am very glad you addressed this, at least this once. I can say that for me, it transcended any salaciousness and really fits as part of their relationship. This entire aspect is a big, big part of any deep and lasting relationship, and I mean beyond the simple physical action, down to the emotional needs you addressed in here (and the ones that, for Dash, you left unarticulated, as is fitting for her). To ignore them is to ignore a very central part of what makes a social creature like these ponies (or us!) more than just a carrier of genes and consumer of calories.
For all the attention you have given this couple, I feel that exploring this side of them rounds them out and gives them just a little bit more reality, and for that reason it's a worthwhile endeavor. Thanks for persevering through the weirdness and the discomfort- I think the result is more than worth it, and a wonderful view of a couple you've made unique with your own particular flair for writing. As always, I'm a bit in awe of how you shape your characters and your stories seem to just flow.
