Well, it's a cross over, and there wasn't a mention of ponies in the first chapter here: generally a bad idea. In cross overs you essentially want to establish the titular series first. Considering this is an MLP fiction site, it would have been wise to include the ponies in the first chapter more extensively.
Also as far as I can tell from this cross over it's going to follow the same basic formula that a lot of others follow: Main character of another series somehow ends up in Equestria, and it turns into a fish out of water story because he is significantly different from the world surrounding him. Continue for several chapters, then resolve by either he decides to stay in Equestria, or returns home.
That's my assumption anyways. I could be wrong, but with what has been presented to me, this is what I am assuming.

122924 I played the first three. I've never really been a huge fan of them, but the gameplay was fun, and I didn't "hate" the story, I just thought it was "there," more or less.
Even being the "guest in the house", this is an MLP fan site, it's not a very clever move to not give the reader ANY MLP not only in the first chapter, but the first unveiling of the story in general. It's not really a "rule", but it's more or less a smart idea when people come here looking for ponies to deliver ponies in some aspect. You have to keep in mind, most people will only read a first chapter and if that doesn't hook them, then they won't come back. You have to write with that in mind.

There is no problem with introducing the guest seeing as the rest of the story is going to be in the MLP universe, it would not make sense if I introduce the ponies before the other.
Sure people come here for ponies but since you bring that up what would be the point of Humanized MLP stories if all it is is humans with pony names? Do you say that no one like this kinds of stories? I know you said "in some aspect" but still it is better for the guest to leave its house first so it can reach its destination.

Don't worry about how there is no pony in the first chapter cause all the other ones are going to be all pony. And the plot was specified in the description and I will follow through.

Dante's cutie mark would be one of those devil trigger runes in Devil May Cry showing that he is half human(or in this case pony) and half demon, Trish's cutie mark should be a column of lightning showing that she can use electricity and Ladie's cutie mark should be a rocket launcher and a sniper rifle crossing each other diagonally due to her skills with firearms.
