First off- The tags are alright. Demons who lurk in the shadows of individual minds are clearly 'dark', but since there is no greater harm caused by them then just being.. there, makes the 'everyone'-tag more than reasonable.
The story.. Yay! To show Derpy as a pariah is a good thing without doubt, but giving her not easy peace or heavy pain but a nearly shizophrenic personality that refuses to open to other ponies is a thing, which I see not that often. Somehow, that would also explain her tendecies to damage things..
And of course, I would love to see her acting in a bigger fiction. She could cause great plot-twists with this character.
