Well, I'm gonna put it in my read latter list, but I bet apples to oranges that this will be featured.

Agriculture always makes for the best wisdom-imparting parables and fables and stories.

Except Catcher in the Rye and Grapes of Wrath. I HATE THOSE.

At Play in the Fields of the Lord was okay. We had to read it back in highschool.

Their accents are a bit overdone. It threw me off.

Haven't read it yet, but by reading the description, I CAN TELL IT'S GONNA BE GOUD!!!

'Wise words of an apple'
Don't be silly, apples can't talk.
Or... can they?

why do i get the feeling that this is going to be one of those stories where even though the main character is giving out advice and makeing everyone feel better she is just as sad as everyone she's helping.

I don't think a "sceptre' is a unit of measurement. :rainbowhuh:

Otherwise, great story. Looking forward to more.

1653387 A sceptre is, indeed, a unit of measurement. At least in this universe. If you have read either TGBM or MWBD, you would have seen the term used a couple times. IIRC, a sceptre is approximately 2 feet, and I believe is also defined to be the length of Celestia's horn.

I like the simple and pure advice that she offers. This is a good read, and well worth it.

I wish that I could give this more than one thumbs up.

Even more beauty than the last chapter:fluttercry:
How do you come up with these? All I have to say is well done:ajsmug:

Is some one going to get that phone? Because I Bucking

Another awesome ending to another awesome story by another awesome writer.

Why the heck does this not have more views? This is amazing! The simple honesty and emotion....... Some of the most beautiful stuff I've ever seen.

... these were great stories and this was a great ending. :fluttercry: :pinkiesad2: a great write.

So much AJ! This makes up for all the times people gloss over her.

Well, I finally got around to reading it. I have to say it was a pretty darn good set of stories with solid lessons and anecdotes. I was particularly fond of Rarity's and Fluttershy's bits, as well as this final chapter. Its simplicity makes it shine; such is the essence of Applejack and the strength of the Slice-of-life style of story telling. Thanks for writing this, Laich.
