Around ten years have passed since the final events of Tamed. A lone Pegasus, Fyreburst, meets with a mysterious contact about the whereabouts of a pony he lost many years ago. In his search, he meets up with a retired celebrity who quickly grows attached to his cause. The two search for answers as fate itself becomes their greatest friend...and their fiercest enemy.
DISCLAIMER: This is a sequel to Tamed so not having read it beforehand may leave some confusion concerning character behavior and plot elements. I would recommend reading the first story before continuing with this one.

Aaah, my brain, need more information to piece together this timeline. I loved the original Tamed, just finished reading it again as a refresher in preparation for this one popping up a few hours ago.

Okay, now this has me seriously confused.
I'm assuming your universe follows canon up to the events of Tamed, and then deviates... quite wildly.
My problem is that Twilight went back in time to the moment she fell from the cloud, or slightly after, whatever. And then 'died' there, or ceased her own existence, whatever. But that can't have changed events leading up to that happening, if it had, it may not have happened at all and would be reality-altering. The event you described was basically the cutting-off of a timeline so that it could have different events take place, it was not a retro-active thing, meaning it did not affect Twilight's past up to that point
What I'm trying to say is that Twilight should have lived her life up to that day and then effectively died then.
And my question is thus: Why does there appear to be an alternate version of her unless you believe in reincarnation?
Anyway, I'm not expecting any spoilers, I just had to say it because it was making my brain hurt and I wanted to try and wrap my head around it, something I've probably done a horrible job of.

Going to have to disagree with a majority of the people here, the story feels all over the place and I can't stand it; I really don't feel like I'm getting a good grip on whats going on in the text because it keeps jumping from to different places so abruptly and frequently.

I felt I was being a bit jumpy and incoherent at the start. I seem to start with the notion that a story should begin a bit wild and then calm down and collect itself. I know it's not the most professional or correct way to write it. I was planning to slow it down in the following chapters...now I'll definitely make sure of it.
