Not everyone on this site knows about fluttermom, and not every fic with the same concept has to be a copy of another. People are not going to say you copied on basic concept alone, this site is classier than that. Your descriptive warning makes you look guilty, at least to me, of the thing you're claiming not to be doing.

Well... it is a different approach than what Fluttermom did. Ok... so let see, Mac and Shy are Scoots parents, Shy is in her early 20s while Scoots is between 8 to 10 years old (I'm going on the low end)... so she must have been conceived... damn... no wonder Rainbow wanted to geld him.

Personally, I like this better than "Fluttermom." It seems a lot more interesting than "A meets B and falls in love. They get married and have babby."

I know, but Fluttermom was featured for a while. That's going to make it the go-to Fluttermac=Scootaloo fic for a lot of people, and my experiences with other sites have made me wary of posting fics that share concepts with other fics, especially when the other fic has been posted so recently. However, I'm less anxious in that I can demonstrate that this guy was written in September (via a copy with a timestamp from that time). If anyone complains that I just copied Fluttermom, I can send them a screenshot of that copy, as well as asking them how they think I can write 4700 words in three hours.
Nonetheless, I wanted to try to make sure that people who came here were aware of Fluttermom so that they wouldn't think I was trying to hide its existence.

I actually had a darkfic idea where Scootaloo was Fluttershy's by child abuse by her first flight teacher, using the trauma to explain all of shy's social ills.

Yeah, the main problem I have as a writer is that I can get a great start to an idea and then not be able to go anywhere with it. I have four other stories that aren't posted because I have the first three-ten pages written and have been unable to go further with them. I do have a plan for where to go with this, but school and http://www.fimfiction.net/story/50470/Prevention are my main priorities right now. Many apologies.
