Meh I ain't mad. In all honesty Prime is good, but just not as good as Beast Wars. As for Animated, I haven't watched it (either I had no cable back then or stationed in England) so I can't pass judgement on the show, but I will agree that it sucks it got cancelled. Hmm maybe I should check out the show myself.

I am really hoping for King Sombra to be a fairly dark and serious villain (ya know, for a for a kids show)

Honestly? I got bored. By Wednesday. It was just too formulaic and insulting to the Mane Six's intelligence. I like the concept, and kudos for a story that manages to preempt the main character's canon appearance, but the execution just felt lacking. Sorry.
