Maybe it was because of the shear speed of which it happened? It got this many likes in just a few short hours after all.
1538161 Comments go back to ten hours ago, 120 views, 29 favs... this is not a shooting star of a fic. yes there's more views now, but at the time it hit featured this just did not have any real push for the box. There was another fic further up on the popular list, 12 hours old, and it had 300 views 63 likes and 50 favs. I'm not saying this is a bad fic, but it baffles me how it skipped past other stories with more views.
