Saw a lot of FanFics on EQD, so I decided to make an account for reading them. Got my exams in a few days though, so I probably won't do much for a few days. Can anyone actually see this?
A lot of people love the Daring Do series, and they follow the anonymous author with their flanks at the edge of their seats, waiting for the next literary adventure. However, is there more to the works of fiction than the iconic, grey-maned thrill-seeker that obtained countless treasures? Is their more to Daring than her naturally quick wit and her love for danger?

I have no idea what inspired me to write this, but I still wrote it in the end and in my opinion, it's not that good. I'm not sure where I was originally headed with this story, but this is where I ended up.
I need some help regarding it though, namely the tags and the "main characters," because I'm never sure what to put where. Also, if there are any mistakes, places that could be improved or tips you may have in general, then please leave me some comments and I'll work on it as soon as I can. I can't work on it immediately though, since I have my mocks in two weeks and surprisingly, they take priority.
I have a feeling that this may be my last story, or at least the last one I write for a while. I'm starting to loose the thrill I once experienced when I wrote my stories, but honestly, I hope that I don't quit. I like this.

Wow, this is great. If anything I have seen on the front page deserves featured, this does. I liked it, liked it a lot. The twist was unexpected, and a little bizarre to think about, but it's awesome.

1628736 Although I'm glad you enjoyed it, I don't think I captured the essence of the Daring Do series very well at the beginning of the fic, so I'd recommend that you look at a few other stories for a better impression of how to write stories about the pony Indiana.

I knew what the concept was going to be as soon as I saw the character tags, and
is it a good one! I don't know if I ever would have thought of turning "where is Gilda now" and "why does Daring Do look like Rainbow Dash" into two halves of the same whole, but damn, it works. And the idea that this is the last Daring Do story because Gilda's finally found the direction she was going with the series and its logical conclusion is fun too... I wonder if Rainbow Dash ever saw the dedication page?

I love love loooved it! I've always been a fan of the theory that gilda writes the darring do books, and this was very well done. Do you have any idea how awesome it would be if you made a sequel or a spin-off or something?

Truth is this story was meant to be a one shot and I had no plans or ideas for any continuing stories that might branch off of this one. However if you're willing to donate ideas then I could try and churn out a story for you
