I'm mostly just confused. the terminology he uses suggests that he's a pony, but the MLP world is something he's not familiar with? Is he is some third non-human, non-pony world? I though this was just "Human observes Equestria" but now I'm just puzzled.

Nice, not featured level (or at least not like before, now I find fics with 13 likes in the feature box) however the boy (age? Name[not quite as important]? Etc?) is mixing up human terms and anatomy a little too often, without doing it every time. Also, 10 year old mare? Filly I think.

I don't see why two people disliked this (so what if he isn't in the world, this isn't about how he became friends with the mane 6.) sure the quality isn't the best for stories, it reads like a journal entry, but thats part of the good. 1678099 Gah, see what I mean? Crappy. I meant that the journalesque (sorry, mind drew a blank) writing style helped bring the point across, this is realistically showing how MLP affects a young man's life.
Also I guess I should change to to a "Teen" rating to be safe. Promise it won't escalate to a "Mature" rating.

2623568 By little more I guess I kinda meant "differently." I'm trying to emphasize on the fact that this relationship she's formed with Jimmy and his grandmother had an emotional or psychological effect on her. I suppose I probably could've explained it a little better but it seemed right at the time.
Also I've noticed that the ponies tend to doubt themselves (like in Party of One and The Last Roundup) and often feel like they've disappointed their friends. Basically I was trying to capture one of those moments.
