This is pretty good so far. Deserves more attention than it's getting. I liked the dream, and where this appears to be heading. Needs to be more fics with Nightmare Moon and Twilight (that don't involve Romance or Nightmare Moon not being evil).

I see the ending and I'm like "this better not be a one chapter story." *sees incomplete* "good."

Looks promising, though the ending was a little to predictable considering the story name, description and character tags...

Damn it, I was hoping this was a TwilightxSpike story. Either way I love it so far, and I like that Twilight's choice of company is switched around from theinexplicablebrony's comic on DA where the mane six were watching a portending meteor shower without Spike.

I'm gonna follow this for the writing alone. The poetic imagery in Twilight's dream sequence was gorgeous.

"Alright then. Your loss." TWILIGHT? ignored that, and continued to watch the shower of stars

You did seem to have a bit of a case of the "lavender mare" syndrome going on though. If you mix up your descriptions of Twilight and how you refer to her though, that would be solved.

Another TwiLuna. Joy. I'll just move on without disliking because this just doesn't interest me. Ships like this (TwiLestia, TwiLuna, TwIxie, TwiDash, AppleDash) are a dime-a-dozen, although they can be well-written. I guess it's sort of like certain crossover combos in its triteness.

Remember kids, just because you don't like a certain idea for a fic doesn't mean it's bad. it just means you probably won't like it.

This dialogue is actually grammatically sound. Let's look at EqD's Editor's Omnibus.

✔ "Hi there," the pink pony giggled. (She giggled while saying the words.)

✔ "Hi there." The pink pony grinned. (The word 'grinned' isn't a 'speaking' verb.)

✔ "Hi there!" the pink pony shouted. (Exclamations and queries replace the comma.)

Looking at the dialogue; First, Spike answers something Twilight asked, grinning happily. Then, Twilight says something, which Spike shrugs at. Spike, then, replies while Twilight scoffs at it. At the last line, Spike says something, which Twilight ignores.

Like, I think NMMxTS is actually MoonLight, hence the capitalization.

Capitalization; shippings should always start with a capital letter, and then (only) be capitalized at names. (With the exception of common words like light, dance, etc...(optional))

For instance, TwiLestia, the "L" should not be capitalized, as "Lestia" isn't a word, or a name.

RariLight, light is a common word, whether you capitalize the "L" or not, is up to you.

FlutterDash, Dash is a name and should be capitalized.

TwiShy, (That's what it's called, right?) Shy is both a word and a name, thus it should be capitalized. (Fluttershy's initials are FS, thus shy is a name.)

Celuna, the "L" is not capitalized, as it's short for Celestia x Luna.

I actually really like the idea of Nightmare Moon as a force that grants wishes. If she must be given independent existence, at least this doesn't absolve Luna of her responsibility for the whole eternal night thing.

Somewhat different new outlook on Nightmare's persona here, a lot of folks either depict it as a separate entity that is inherently evil or created by Luna at some point.  Making her the goddess of dreams and nightmares, most interesting.  

The story is on a good track, I'm curious as to how long Twilight will go with the denial route (if you choose to do so), and just how much of a snowball it'll make before breaking.

This is kinda like what Gregory MaGuire did for the Wicked Witch of the West, but on a much smaller scale. One of the coolest thing one can do with canon characters and concepts is to re-imagine them from a different perspective, keeping everything the same while generating new ideas beneath the surface that nullify all preconceptions we once took for facts. And playing with canon facts is fun, too; like Twilight's apparent tendency to talk to puddles.

It has so much potential for hilarity, classy sensual teasing, and social awkwardness. I've at the edge of my seat with anticipation seeing as how you've been executing it so well thus far with pace, humor, wit, AND character interaction.
