49w, 22h"Power Ponies" This Week!7 comments · 182 views
So this week, there's going to be a Power Ponies episode where Fluttershy has the power to get big and tear out of her clothes?
If I were to guess, I'd say this means the Mystery Box from the season opener contains the Elements of Debauchery.

I don't know about you guys, but I really enjoyed last week's episode, "Daring Don't."
I got such a giddy thrill when the A.K. Yearling turned out to be Daring Do herself! I think that excitement is something us writers can relate to. I believe all of us are, in truth, the stars of what we write, whether we're trying to or not. I think writing can be the most satisfying form of fantasy that way because we can construct our own myth the way we want it to go. And I think it's a necessary exercise for realizing that it is within our power to change who we are in the real world. When you're writing about your OC, for example, your character can do whatever you like without consequence - thoughts become action. Sometimes we feel overwhelmed that we can't do the same things in the real world. But, with common sense exceptions, we do actually have this power over our lives. It just takes the same kind of work to make it happen.
I'd love to tell you that I am, in fact, a purple unicorn magic teacher typing this on some strange keyboard with two mammoth keys. We all know that's not true - but somehow, by writing with the mindset of that character, I do feel myself becoming her out in the world. I carry myself differently out in the world than I did before, find myself thinking the way Soaking Wet does. And I've enjoyed things more as a result. And to the others who have developed their own OCs, I'm sure you've felt this magic as well. Even if you don't feel it yet, it's already started, and you'll know it when the time comes.
And this is what I loved about "Daring Don't" - it's not entirely clear whether (1) A.K. Yearling started out as Daring Do, and merely decided after that to publish her stories under a pseudonym, or (2) if A.K. was just a normal mare and a writer who chose a life of adventure, got her cutie mark as a result, then moonlighted as her former self in order to write them down. In my mind, both are equally plausible, though I prefer number (2). Sometimes others change us, but I think the most satisfying changes are the ones we inflict on ourselves, the ones that reflect our innermost fantasies. Only then can we become who we truly want to be.
I want this for all of you. And I know you can do it. After all, your teacher believes in you. Mwah.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone!

No? Well too bad - I've made more anyway.
To commemorate my first year since joining this site, I will be posting a new clopfic here next week.
It will be just one story, around 3,000 words or so, but it will also follow the fanon of both my clopfics "The Goddess Within" and "Beyond The Goddess Within." Since both those stories took place way back before Mr. and Mrs. Cake had their foals, I will also be referring to certain events that occurred later in the show's canon. You may consider it an epilogue to "BTGW," or maybe an update on how this alternate timeline has been going since we saw them last.
Will it have more anthropomorphic transformations caused by sexual arousal?
Will it include more fetishes?
Will it feature more characters whose gods or goddesses we haven't seen yet?
Stay tuned! I'm thinking of posting it this next Thursday or Friday.
