I kind of don't want to read this story.  

If I do I'll form an opinion and feel compelled to vote on it.  If that happens, I might very well break the perfect 50-50 ratio that's going on right now, or if I don't, I might feel compelled to vote a certain way in order to restore said ratio.  Either way, its radically unlikely I'd be voting based on the actual content of the story.  Curse you, strange Internet OCD!

That like/dislike amount reminds me of certain YouTube videos where the same thing happened, but the number is in the thousands
