I always love these sort of adorable cuddly scenarios (Even if I am a terrible nurse and whiny patient) I've even been writing a few little one shot stories....

Either way, this was a really sweet little story and the ending was definately a surprise, (hopefully Fluttershy doesn't end up being infected too)

This reminds me of the episode of Big Bang Theory where Sheldon gets sick. Especially the part wih the lullaby.

Well, that was fun.

That was adorable. Even if it was "just" a friendship/slice of life fic, the RariJack fanboy in me was overjoyed by this.

In a matter of seconds, the mercury rose. Applejack extended a hoof to grab the thermometer and check for herself, but a sudden sneeze from Rarity sent it flying across the room and crashing against a wall. The shattering sound caused Rarity to look at Applejack with a faint blush on her cheeks.

FYI, mercury fumes are very toxic. They should have immediatly left the room for a few hours or risk getting mercury poisoning...

“Oh, but just look at that horrible mess! The soup stained not only the wall, but also my recently washed carpet! If I don’t wash it soon, the whole room will reek of tomato soup! I can’t work like that!”

Clean a tomato soup stain? Yeah, good luck with that... You're going to need a new carpet!

I love this story! Well-written, very sweet, pleasant and relaxed. An excellent break to all the epic pony adventure fics I've been reading. (I mean, those are good, too, but a good Slice of Life story is just what I needed.)

A cute a funny story, and finally somepony other then Twilight finally has problems with their magic, considering magic is her talent there are a lot of Twilight messes spell/has trouble with her magic stories.

I hope Fluttershy is somehow immune, otherwise we may end up with three of the six down in bed sick!

Though hopefully if that happened the next one to tend would be Twilight and she would probably come prepared.

as others have said, completely surprised that this didn't enter a notorious ship/clop minefield (i know that those 2 are completely different but i mean that phrase in a different sense, as in a good story like this avoiding a ship and clop minefield,not that there is anything wrong with them[although i don't read clop]) the description alone made me 99% sure it would fall into said minefield with solo caretaking (like a boss) and excess bellyrubs, but somehow you managed to pull this off without making them do anything ship-y (aside from a non-chalant flirt or 2)

I have never understood the superstition that being cold makes people sick. Colds are caused by rhinovirus. Why wasn't Twilight there to explain that? Gah!
