The writing is good.

If I may say one thing, though, it's that you seem to be throwing a lot of bad things happening in quick succession. I may be alone on this one, but to me it's taking a little from each one until it becomes 'yeah, yeah, and somebody else died'.

I'm not saying your story is bad, just giving my two cents.

I see what you mean. I had to have something lead up to Nightmare Moon and I'm not killing Fluttershy, so I played up the Sweetie Belle scenario.

Killing Fluttershy wasn't really an option, so after big bad Sweetie death I made Twilight pregnant for some happiness.
