Three of the journals, specifically those of Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, and Apple Bloom, contained frightening imagery. When I first glimpsed the Operator symbol (while converting this for my e-reader) I paused, looked again at the title, read it aloud under my breath and then went "O I C what u did thar!"
