What It's Like

Princess Celestia is so lonely being ruler... Everyone sees her as royalty, but she feels no one truly sees her as a person. Twilight Sparkle is her only hope for knowing what friendship is like. She isn't free to be herself, and that's been slowly wearing on her for years. Quick drabble about her feelings and etc.

So by your interpretation, Twilight's "Friendship Reports" are simply Celestia's way of living vicariously through her? I hadn't thought of it that way before..... interesting take.

One thing, why the *dark / angst* warning at the start?
That almost put me off from reading this fic.
This isn't Dark, but a Sad tag would be appropriate. But not Romance.

Awww, poor princess celestia. She just wants to let her mane fall down and have some fun but can't because of royal duties. Also, this needs a sad tag. Not very sad, but it kinda makes you feel feels, does that make sense???

1363781 You are right, I guess I really should change the tags... And yes, that's just a little idea I had, but wasn't sure where to really go with it. I just think it's a little odd that no one wonders why or they assume it's because she wants to teach Twilight Sparkle about friendship. But maybe she just wants to learn about it for her own reasons? xD I dunno... But thanks for reading!
