Well, fifth chapter is up, and I'm ready to take a break for a while, will probably crank out another chapter this afternoon. This story has been rolling around in my head for the last two weeks, so I've got plenty of ideas to still get down.

Pretty interesting so far, though I do wonder why only events mostly pertaining to the various wars were told. Humanity has made great achievements despite our tendency to put holes in each other.  ....then again there I haven't finished all the remaining chapters yet.

Well, here it is, the sixth chapter, hope it establishes why I saw fit to add a Dark tag to the story if the prologue hadn't made it clear.

Doctor and Rarity? Interesting. By this man's reaction I assume either the show Doctor Who doesn't exist on his earth or he is not a fan of it. And obviously likewise for My Little Pony.

Uh... Hexadecimal is simply a number system, used in programming. The Dewey Decimal system is what you had described in the story.  Also, is this just a method for you to preach philosophy? Because that is REALLY what it sounds like, and the story suffers for it.

EDIT: Just realized, you're referring to Spike's growth? I intend his size after this spurt to remain fairly constant, its purpose to narrative will become apparent over time, a very long time. But I can tell you that I found it a good way to relate Spike's age to the reader, and by proxy some of the others.

Alright, new chapter is up! Got a little bit of everything in here, slice of life, molestia, light horror, and a cliff hanger to boot.

Also, let me know on what you think about Edmund becoming a lumberjack/challenger of the Everfree, he's not going to be all that skilled with that axe at the beginning but I'd like an idea on your guy's thoughts on the matter. I'll start writing the next chapter tomorrow.
