The Doctor, a Time Pony, leaves his home-world, Gallopfrey, because, quote, "It's really quite rubbish." He finds a world called Equestria, which is more than a bit strange. For one thing, it's a geocentric system rather than a heliocentric one. He decides to investigate, but finds his query cut short by a visit from some old foes, the Cyberponies. Joined by the wall-eyed Derpy, the psychedelic songstress Vinyl and the refined Octavia, the Doctor must find a way to save his new friends and all of Equestria.

I love a good DW fic. And seriously, THIS IS IT. Loved the part of Vinyl and Octavia, really did. I don't think it needs corrections. I MUST Track and Like. This is awesome. REALLY. btw, Is Doctor Hooves or THE Doctor? Because when he got out of the TARDIS, He seemed very normal in that appearence. That, or he didn't noticed of his change.

I do this in order to differentiate who is doing what to whom. I realize it seems tedious, but when the majority of your cast is Female it's rather unavoidable. I might go over and try to cut down on it where I think it's necessary, but otherwise I'm leaving it as is for now. Still, thank you. Always appreciate constructive criticism.

1868387 As I see it, this is a completely different character from any of the Doctors before. He is the Doctor of his world, but he's not just a pony version of the Doctor. He has his own life, adventures and history which parallel the Humanoid Doctor, but he is his own pony. As such he's yet to regenerate in this lifetime so he's still the first Doctor of this world.
Edit: I'm reconsidering this stance, postulating that I might include earlier incarnations of this Doctor based on previous canon Doctors, but with my own twist. It's a thought, I'm still trying to get myself going on Story 3. Small hint, it'll be a Time-Travel story set in the pony equivalent of the Victorian Era.

1868387 when the doctor tells you his age... ignore it, the show is very inconsistent with this and contradicts itself MANY times. Because of this most people just believe that the doctor doesn't know how old he is anymore and is just guessing. I believe the 3rd doctor once said he was well over a thousand once, but according the the 11th he only JUST passed 1000 during his time with the Ponds. when it comes to pony fics, assume its the 10th unless otherwise stated.
(according the the actual show mind you, no idea if this would be relevant with the fic)
.... Just.... Absoutivinloutly perfect first chapter! Being a fan of both Doctor Who and MLP (no duh i guess) i started looking for a good xover that stayed true to both, and almost gave up after like 20 that all were bad portrayials of the doctor, contained gore (blegh), or didnt contain derpy (an absolute must, shes a perfect assistant for him). Then i came across this little beauty. Cant wait to read more in the morning (well later today, already like 5:00 for me right now) consider yourself "followed" (i pesonally prefer the term stalking)
Three chapters down, and i have only one problem: THEY'RE TOO SHORT!! Honestly, i dont know how you manage to embody every doctor ive ever seen in so short of a time, but i want MORE. I dont comment very often, but when i do its because the writers doing something right, and you are doing EVERYTHING right.
